Disney's latest animated feature is finally headed to DisneyPlus. I've watched the movie a few times already and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. And every time I watch it, I discover more of the Disney100 easter eggs hidden throughout. So fun!
Wish, and of course that adorable Star, is coming to DisneyPlus on April 3rd.
A new animatedshort is coming to ABC next month as part of the Disney100 celebration. With 543 characters from over 85 Disney films, Once Upon A Studio should be an absolute delight for Disney fans.
Here's the official synopsis from Disney:
An all-star ensemble of beloved characters fromWalt Disney Animation Studios come together in “Once Upon a Studio” for a joyful, entertaining and emotional reunion as they assemble for a spectacular group photo to mark Disney's 100th anniversary. Featuring 543 Disney characters from more than 85 feature-length and short films, “Once Upon a Studio” welcomes heroes and villains, princes and princesses, sidekicks and sorcerers—in all-new hand-drawn and CG animation—to celebrate 10 decades of storytelling, artistry and technological achievements.
Once Upon A Studio makes its debut on ABC on October 15th.
I find it absolutely hilarious that Disney took one little, somewhat painful, scene from Hawkeyeand turned it into a 30 minute musical. "Rogers: The Musical" looks ridiculously funny! Here's a quick look behind-the-scenes at the making of this new show.
Here's the official synopsis from Disney:
As part of the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland Resort, the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park presents “Rogers: The Musical” – an all-new, one-act live theater production performing for a limited time, June 30-Aug. 31, 2023. Inspired by the fictional musical number from the first episode of the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” the real-life “Rogers: The Musical” tells the story of Steve Rogers – Captain America, including his relationship with Peggy Carter. The 30-minute show was brought to life through the creativity of Disney Live Entertainment, in partnership with book writer Hunter Bell and featuring music by Grammy-winning composer Christopher Lennertz.
And there are quite a few special sweets and treats to be found throughout the park to celebrate this new musical.
Red, White & Blue Shake at Schmoozies!: Vanilla shake with wild cherry and blue raspberry slushes and whipped topping (Non-alcoholic)
Patriotic Punch at Hollywood Lounge: Sprite and white cranberry juice with blue raspberry and cherry syrups topped with whipped cream (Non-alcoholic)

There will be a free virtual queue that will open at 10:30 AM for the first two shows and 2 PM for the final two shows each performance day. The queue can be accessed through the Disneyland app.

As part of the Disney100 Celebration, Sara Bareilles recorded a new arrangement of the Disney classic "When You Wish Upon A Star". Accompanied by an orchestra in Glasgow, Scotland and a choir in London, England, the result is simply beautiful.
With Disney celebrating its 100 anniversary this year, it's seems appropriate to share the animated short that made the company famous. "Steamboat Willie" was the first animated movie to feature synchronized sound. It revolutionized the industry and paved the way for all of the animated movies to come. While it may seem a little strange by modern standards, it introduced three of Disney's classic characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pete. While "Steamboat Willie" will only be 95 this year, it's definitely an important part of Disney's history. So, without further ado, on with the show.
LEGO has made some truly incredible Disney sets over the years. From princesses and castles to spaceships and pirates, there are Disney LEGO sets for everyone. This year, as part of the Disney 100 celebration, there will be even more LEGO to enjoy.
Here are a few of the sets you can find this spring at both LEGO and shopDisney.
The Disney Celebration Train is an adorable, and affordable at $39.99, 200 piece set for kids age 4 and up. It features six minifigures: Mickey, Minnie, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Woody, and Moana, with train cars that look like parade floats. Mickey is the driving the train in the engine. Moana's island car has a hidden cave and slide. Peter Pan and Tink are riding along on a pirate ship. Woody has a turning stage on his "Woody's Roundup" float. Minnie is waiting at the station for the train to arrive. Instructions for this set are also available in the LEGO Builder app, with zoom and rotate tools to help kids visualize the model as they build. This set will be released on April 1.
The Disney 100th Celebration BrickHeadz feature four Disney firsts. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was Disney's first character, Mickey Mouse as the first ever animated character, Snow White from the first Disney feature film, and Tinker Bell, the first Disneyland mascot. This 501 piece set is for kids age 10 and up and sells for $39.99.
For Pixar fans, how about building Mr. Fredricksen's 'Up' House. This 598 piece set is perfect for kids age 9 and up. The set includes three minifigures: Carl Fredricksen, Russell, and Dug and a... SQUIRREL! From the balloons floating out the chimney, to the bright colors and furnished rooms, this is an adorable recreation of the iconic house. And don't forget Ellie's adventure book, because it's included, too. This set will be released on April 1.
And finally, if minifigures are more your speed, there's a new collection of Disney characters just for you. There are 18 figures in this collection and each comes packaged in its own blind bag, so it's a surprise which figure you receive. The Disney 100 minifigures include:
