It's nearly time! Ted Lasso is returning to AppleTV for a fourth season. Everyone's favorite coach is back, but this time he's coaching a women's football team.

Jason Sudeikis is Ted Lasso, an American football coach hired to manage a British soccer team - despite having no experience. But what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for with optimism, underdog determination…and biscuits. In season 4, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.

Season 4 of Ted Lasso arrives on AppleTV on August 5th.

I love Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge's story of redemption is one I read and watch most every year. This year, there's a new version heading to theaters, with a rather unexpected star: Johnny Depp.

This November, Johnny Depp is Ebenezer Scrooge. The name you know, the story you don’t. From Ti West, "Ebenezer" also stars Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, Arthur Conti, Ellie Bamber, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Charlie Murphy, with Tramell Tillman and Ian McKellen.

Ebenezer arrives in theaters on November 13th.

Pompeii: Out Of Time

Pompeii has fascinated us for centuries. It was lost when an eruption of Mount Vesuvius covered the city in volcanic ash in 79 AD. For years, we thought that everyone living there had died in the city. But what if we were wrong?

Recent excavations have added to our understanding of this ancient city and its people, including those who survived. National Geographic and Tom Hiddleston, best known as Marvel's Loki, are revisiting the story of Pompeii in a new three-part docudrama, Pompeii: Out Of Time.

Dune: Part Three

The first full trailer and poster for Dune: Part Three have arrived. This may be the darkest tale of the trilogy. It takes place nearly 20 years after the events of Dune: Part Two, and Paul is struggling with his role as Emperor.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is the story of Haymitch Abernathy's time in the Hunger Games. This behind-the-scenes featurette shows how filmmakers are bringing Haymitch's journey to life.

The second trailer for Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom has arrived and it looks hilarious. It seems that Shaun has become a mad scientist and created something unexpected.

X-Men '97 Season 2

The second season of Marvel's X-Men '97 is just one week away. The first season picked up where X-Men: The Animated Series left off in 1996. Season one was great, though intense, so I can't wait to see what happens in season two, including the return of Apocalypse.

X-Men ’97 Season 2 continues with the heroic mutant team of X-Men, divided and thrown across different eras in time as they struggle to navigate their return home. Minions & Monsters And The First LEGO

Illumination's Minions & Monsters looks absolutely hilarious. In this clip, we see the Minions living in ancient Greece, working for a Cyclops. And then, they create the first LEGO. As expected with the Minions, it does not go well.

A new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has arrived. It looks like Peter Parker has really had it rough since the world forgot him. And now, his mutation is evolving.

Avatar: Fire and Ash on DisneyPlus

The wait is nearly over. Avatar: Fire and Ash is headed to DisneyPlus later this month. The Sully family is back for another adventure through the wilds of Pandora.

Gatto Teaser & Poster

The first teaser trailer and poster for Pixar's Gatto have arrived. This animated movie looks hilarious: it's a mob story starring cats, set in Venice.

Here's the official synopsis from Pixar: 

Mark Ruffalo has joined the voice cast as the scrappy black cat Nero, and Laurence Fishburne will voice the ruthless mob boss cat Rocco. The teaser trailer introduces Nero and Rocco as they question another cat in a funny interrogation scene.

In “Gatto,” after years of maneuvering the canal-ridden, superstitious city of Venice, Italy, Nero begins to question whether he’s lived the right lives. The final trailer for Disney's live-action Moana has arrived and it looks amazing. With each new trailer, we see a little more of the characters and special effects. Tamatoa looks incredible and sounds incredible as Jemaine Clement is back to voice the giant gold-hoarding crab.

The Doomies

A new supernatural animated series is headed to DisneyPlus. The Doomies follows two best friends who accidentally unleash the monsters of Subterra on their town.

When best friends Bobby and Romy accidentally open a portal to evil, their tranquil coastal town transforms into a hotspot for terrifying creatures of doom. The wild and ever growing herd of the Ice Age movies is back for another crazy adventure. The first teaser trailer and poster for the sixth installment, Ice Age: Boiling Point, has appeared and it looks just as fun as the previous films. Who knows what nuttiness Manny, Ellie, Diego, Sid, Crash, Eddie, Buck and Scrat will get up to. But, is that a baby Scrat and where's Peaches?!

The first teaser trailer for Enola Holmes 3 has arrived and it looks fantastic. Enola is Sherlock Holmes younger sister and, like her brother, she is quite clever at solving crimes. This time around, she's supposed to be marrying Tewkesbury, but Sherlock has been kidnapped and Enola is the only person who can rescue him.

Time To Return To The 90s

Marvel's X-Men '97 is returning for a second season. Season One of this continuation of X-Men: The Animated Series arrived on DisneyPlus in 2024, so we've had a bit of a wait to see where they go next. And in true X-Men fashion, the answer is: time travel.

With No Power Comes No Responsibility

The final trailer for Marvel's Spider-Noir has arrived and it looks fantastic. This gritty live-action series focuses on Ben Reilly, a former super hero who must step out of the shadows once again to save New York from super powered villains.

Based on Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man Noir, the “Spider-Noir” live-action series tells the story of Ben Reilly, a private investigator in 1930s New York. Played by Nicolas Cage, the burnt-out private eye is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only super hero.

Cage is joined by Lamorne Morris, portraying journalist Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li’s Cat Hardy, a nightclub songstress and femme fatale, and Karen Rodriguez, who plays Ben Reilly’s assistant detective, Janet.

Spider-Noir arrives on Amazon Prime Video on May 27th in True-Hue Full Color and Authentic Black and White.

The Stunts Of Spider-Man: Brand New Day

In this behind-the-scenes featurette for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, we get a quick glimpse of the practical stunts in the film. The opening action sequence looks pretty incredible.

It is once again my favorite holiday in the galaxy: May the 4th, or Star Wars Day! It's the perfect time to watch your favorite Star Wars movie or series, enjoy a nice glass of blue milk, and maybe even a wookiee cookie or two.
