The next season of Doctor Who is nearly here! The Doctor has found a new companion, Belinda Chandra, but getting her back home may be more difficult than he thought.

Here's the official synopsis from BBC: 

Audiences join The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) on an epic quest to get Belinda back to Earth.

But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-travelling TARDIS team must face great dangers, ferocious enemies and wilder terrors than ever before.

Doctor Who Season 2 arrives of DisneyPlus on April 12th. New episodes will debut weekly.

Doctor Who Season 2 Is Headed Our Way

The first trailer for season 2 of the latest incarnation of Doctor Who has arrived and it looks just as madcap and delightful as ever. Once again, the Doctor is in need of a companion. After all, it wouldn't do to travel through all of time and space alone!

Here's the official synopsis from the BBC & Disney: 

The Doctor meets Belinda Chandra and begins an epic quest to get her back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-traveling TARDIS team must face great dangers, bigger enemies and wider terrors than ever before.

The new season stars Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. Previously announced guest cast includes Rose Ayling-Ellis, Christopher Chung, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruth Madeley, Jemma Redgrave and Susan Twist. And, appearing as Mr. Ring-a-Ding in episode 2 is the incomparable Alan Cumming.

Doctor Who Season 2 arrives on DisneyPlus on April 12th. New episodes will debut each Saturday.

The Doctor Who Christmas Specials are often the wildest and most fun episodes of the year. I always look forward to seeing what craziness the Doctor will get wrapped up in next. This episode looks to be filled with timey-wimey Christmas shenanigans.

I love this montage of clips from two of my favorite sci-fi shows, Doctor Who and Star Trek, for Intergalactic Friendship Day. After all, friendship is what the Doctors and Companions, Captains and Crews together so that we can enjoy their continuing missions.

I loved seeing the TARDIS in Disney Springs in June. It was an unexpected and fantasic surprise for Doctor Who fans.

A New Season Of Doctor Who Is Headed To DisneyPlus

Doctor Who has found a new streamung home in America. While the previous 13 seasons are available on Max, the latest season will be making its way to DisneyPlus this May. So far, I really like this new Doctor, so I can't wait to see what kind of crazy adventures he and Ruby Sunday get up to.

It's Time To Meet The New Doctor

Doctor Who has been a favorite in our house for years, so I was very excited to see David Tennant's Doctor return for three new specials. The specials were fantastic and also featured the return of Donna Noble, which was great. But now, there's a new Doctor and a new Christmas special is on the way. It's time to meet the new Doctor and his Companion, Ruby Sunday.

Doctor Who Crafts

I've been feeling very crafty of late. I've knit a few pairs of socks already this month, and I made some slippers and mittens last month as Christmas gifts. I also made one very special pair of fingerless gloves for Bean. They were inspired by a sock pattern that I found on Pinterest. The Tardis socks pattern, which is available for free from Ravelry, was easily adapted to fingerless gloves. (Admittedly, I kept making silly errors and ended up frogging one about five times, but it worked out in the end.)

Anyway, I'm on a total Doctor Who kick at the moment, so I've been searching out Doctor Who crafts to try. I've got an entire Pinterest board full of inspiration to choose from. I'm thinking I may try the knit Converse slippers. They're so Ten. Or perhaps I'll make a few Christmas ornaments, so that they'll actually be ready before next Christmas. Decisions, decisions. Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol

This may be my new favorite episode of Doctor Who. It's a beautiful, although very sad, retelling of A Christmas Carol, with a typical Doctor Who twist. Bean and I loved it!
