I love Charles Dickens'A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge's story of redemption is one I read and watch most every year. This year, there's a new version heading to theaters, with a rather unexpected star: Johnny Depp.

The first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsdayhas arrived. It looks like Thor is in charge now and he is making sure they all understand the importance of coming together as a team.
So far, in typical Marvel fashion, they are keeping the overall story under wraps. But we do know that at least 4 teams will be coming together to fight the latest villain: Doctor Doom. These teams include the Fantastic 4, the Wakandans, the X-Men, and of course, the Avengers.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18th.
Have you seen Project Hail Maryyet? If not, then I highly recommend that you do. I was not sure what to expect when I went to the drive-in to watch this movie, but I ended up loving it. I thought it was going to be just another "it's the end of the world so we're going to send one guy into space to save us" movie. It does have elements of that trope, but it's so much more.
When middleschool teacher Ryland Grace wakes up, alone, aboard the spaceship Hail Mary, he has no idea how he got there, or even who he is. As his memory slowly returns, he realizes that he has been sent into space to save our sun from a microscopic organism called an astrophage. He is headed for a planet whose sun does not appear to be affected by the astrophage to hopefully find a solution that saves the Earth.
It's there, in space, that he meets Rocky, an Eridian scientist, who happens to resemble a spider made of stone, sent by his planet to save them from the astrophage. This is where the movie becomes fantastic. Rocky and Grace discover how to communicate and decide to work together to solve the astrophage problem. In the process, they also become best friends. I know it sounds a little trite, but honestly, this is the best buddy movie I've seen in years.
Overall, Project Hail Mary is an incredible story of unexpected friendship and what working together can accomplish.
Pompeii has fascinated us for centuries. It was lost when an eruption of Mount Vesuvius covered the city in volcanic ash in 79 AD. For years, we thought that everyone living there had died in the city. But what if we were wrong?
Recent excavations have added to our understanding of this ancient city and its people, including those who survived. National Geographic and Tom Hiddleston, best known as Marvel'sLoki, are revisiting the story of Pompeii in a new three-part docudrama, Pompeii: Out Of Time.

The first full trailer and poster for Dune: Part Threehave arrived. This may be the darkest tale of the trilogy. It takes place nearly 20 years after the events of Dune: Part Two, and Paul is struggling with his role as Emperor.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has written a new song for Disney'slive-actionMoana. "Along the Way" is performed by Maui (Dwayne Johnson), and two Moanas: the original animated Moana (Auli'i Cravalho) and the new live-action Moana (Catherine Lagaʻaia). The result is fantastic.

The first full trailer for Enola Holmes 3 has arrived and it look like it's going to be another wild adventure. Enola has been enjoying spending time with Tewkesbury, and they have decided to marry. It will take a Holmes, to save a Holmes. The critically-acclaimed ‘Enola Holmes’ franchise has returned, taking Enola far from London, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.

The final trailer for Marvel's Spider-Noirhas arrived and it looks fantastic. This gritty live-actionseries focuses on Ben Reilly, a former super hero who must step out of the shadows once again to save New York from super powered villains.
Based on Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man Noir, the “Spider-Noir” live-action series tells the story of Ben Reilly, a private investigator in 1930s New York. Played by Nicolas Cage, the burnt-out private eye is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only super hero.
Cage is joined by Lamorne Morris, portraying journalist Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li’s Cat Hardy, a nightclub songstress and femme fatale, and Karen Rodriguez, who plays Ben Reilly’s assistant detective, Janet.

The Sheep Detectives looks like such a funny movie. George, the shepherd, really loves his flock, and his flock loves him so much that they attempt to solve his murder.
