Muppet Christmas Carol Funko POPs

I know it's too early to be thinking about Christmas, but have you seen these adorable Funko POPVinyl from the Muppets Christmas Carol? The Muppet version is one of my favorite movies of Dickens' classic tale, so I have to add these to my collection. Above is Gonzo as Charles Dickens with Rizzo the Rat. A flocked version of the pair is available for pre-order from Amazon for $15.00.

Next up is Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit and Robin as Tiny Tim.

Miss Piggy makes an appearance as Emily Cratchit,

while Fozzie Bear is the lovable owner of a rubber chicken factory, Mr Fozziwig.

Statler and Waldorf are ready to heckle as the ghostly Marley Brothers.

And finally, Michael Caine's redeemed Ebeneezer Scrooge, wearing the scarf Beaker gave him.

All of the figures, except the Marley Brothers, sell for $11.99. The Marley Brothers are $19.99. The Muppet Christmas Carol Funko POPs will be released sometime in October, but are available for pre-order from several different retailers now.

Indiana Jones Funko POPVinyl Are Coming Soon

With the final installment of the Indiana Jones movies heading to theaters this summer, Funko has decided to revisit a few favorite scenes and characters from the first three movies. (Yes, I know there are four, but the Crystal Skull has been left out of this set.) These POPVinyl collectibles are currently available for pre-order from the usual suspects: Amazon, Entertainment Earth, GameStop, etc, and most will also be available at Funko at some point. They are expected to arrive sometime between May and August and prices do vary somewhat by retailer. 

First up, is Indy escaping the boulder. This large scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark will be available from multiple retailers at a price of $34.99.

The second scene is of Indy with the Sankara Stones. This figure, from Temple of Doom, is a Funko exclusive that lights up and will cost $40.

The third scene is my favorite: Indy and his dad in the motorcycle with sidecar. This scene, from The Last Crusade, is an Amazon exclusive and will cost $24.99.

And then there are quite a few POPVinyl figures to choose from. There are five different POPVinyl looks for our favorite archeologist, four of his companions, one villain and one keychain.

These Willow Funko POPVinyl Figures Are Fantastic

Funko has created four new POPVinyl figures celebrating the classic fantasy film Willow. First up is Willow Ufgood, holding baby Elora Danan. Next is Madmartigan in the armor he found at Tir Asleen. Then, General Kael, a Bone Reaver and leader of the Army of Nockmaar.

Finally, there are two different figures of Sorcha. The common figure shows her red hair and the chase wears her helmet. All of the POPVinyl figures stand on a grey base with the movie title in gold. The figures are currently available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth and should be released sometime in May.

The first Hocus Pocus POPVinyl trio that Funko created for Spirit Halloween Stores in 2018 is still my favorite. I just love seeing the Sanderson sisters with their makeshift brooms.

Funko's Funkoween POPs Are Spooktacular

Funko has released a very large collection of new POPVinyl figures as part of their Funkoween: Halfway to Hallow's Eve celebration. These are a few of my favorites. Most are available for pre-order now. First up is a new Hocus Pocus scene. This time, my three favorite witches are performing "I put a spell on you." As with previous Hocus Pocus figures, this one is a Spirit Halloween Store exclusive. It should be available in early July.

Next up is a Hocus Pocus card game. I haven't played any of Funko's games yet, but they always look fun.

Mickey and his pals are dressed to Trick-Or-Treat in this adorable collection. Figures include:

These Moon Knight POPVinyl Are Fantastic

Funko has created a fantastic collection of POPVinyl figures for Marvel's Moon Knight. There are five regular figures, three glow-in-the-dark exclusive figures, and a keychain. So far, there's no figure of Steven (or should it be Marc?) but that may change.

Currently, the figures include: Khonshu, who looks delightfully eerie, and Layla El-Faouly, who is holding the scarab compass.

A glow-in-the-dark Khonshu is a BoxLunch exclusive. 

Mr Knight is ready to fight and Arthur Harrow holds the Staff of Ammit.

A glow-in-the-dark Mr Knight is a Walmart exclusive. 

Moon Knight is jumping into the fray in both a POPVinyl figure and a mini POP keychain. 

 A glow-in-the-dark Moon Knight is a Hot Topic exclusive. 

Most of these POPVinyl figures are currently available for pre-order from some retailers, but they aren't expected to arrive until sometime in August or September. 

The Thor: Love and Thunder POPVinyl Are Out Of This World

Funko has created the most fantastic collection of POPVinyl for Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder. 

There are a large number of figures and sets in this collection. Individual figures available from multiple retailers include: Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, Gorr the God Butcher, Korg, and Miek.

A four pack Walmart exclusive includes: Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Gorr.

Jane Foster as Mighty Thor unmasked is a metallic Books-A-Million exclusive.

The Funko exclusive is a a glow-in-the-dark Mighty Thor.

A two-pack of Thor and Mighty Thor is the Target exclusive.

The Pop!Ride is Thor in his Goat Boat, pulled by Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder.

Mini POPVinyl keychains of Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Gorr will also be available from multiple retailers.

All of these figures are currently available for pre-order and should arrive in stores sometime in July.

These Lightyear Funko POPVinyl Are Out Of This World

Here's your first look at the POPVinyl figures Funko has created for Pixar's Lightyear. They're so cute! The five figures include:

The figures should be released later this year. Lightyear arrives in theaters on June 17th.

These Hamilton POPVinyl Are Fantastic

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton is a favorite musical in our house. It's such an amazing look at the founding fathers with incredible songs. We all love it. 

As a result, when Funko released its first set of Hamilton POPVinyl figures, we had to add them to the collection. The first group included Alexander Hamilton, Angelica Schuyler, Aaron Burr, Eliza Schuyler, George Washington, and Peggy Schuyler. An additional figure of Alexander Hamilton in the blue cost was a Walmart exclusive. 

Then, they released a Fall Convention exclusive figure of the Marquis de Lafayette and we had to have that one too. 

Now they've released four additional figures, along with another exclusive. This collection includes Alexander Hamilton (Act 2), Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and King George. There's also a Walmart exclusive King George without the cape. I see more POPVinyl in our future.

Beauty and the Beast Funko POPs

Can you believe it has been 30 years since Beauty and the Beast first made its debut in theaters? The tale of the kind and clever girl who melts the heart of the gruff and beastly prince has always been my favorite fairy tale and Disney’s animated version is truly wonderful. To celebrate its enduring success, Funko has created a new collection of seven POPVinyl figures and two variants.

There are 2 Belle figures. In one, she's wearing the blue village dress and holding the enchanted mirror with the Beast's image. In the other, she's wearing the pink winter dress and click and holding a bird. An Amazon exclusive Diamond Edition is also available. Beast appears as he was preparing for the ball, with his silly curled hair. He looks suitably disgusted. Lumiere is ready to burst into the chorus for "Be Our Guest", wearing his candle snuffer as a top hat.

Gaston has come a'courtin' in his finest, much to Belle's dismay. Cogsworth appears as his usual stuffy self in the first figure. The second is a Funko.com exclusive and features Cogsworth when he landed in the pie during "Be Our Guest". The Chase is mostly in shades of grey. 

These figures, which are currently scheduled to be released sometime in March, would make a delightful addition to any Beauty and the Beast fan's collection. The are available for pre-order from Amazon and other retailers now.

Gingerbread Avengers From Funko

Funko has created a most adorable set of Christmas POPVinyl figures this year. The set features gingerbread figures of eight Avengers: Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Thor, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Captain America, and Spider-Man. I love how the bobbleheads look like they are decorated with candy and icing. So sweet! They can be pre-ordered from several retailers, including Amazon, although they will likely be delayed until late December or even January. 

Grogu Is Coming To The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

One of my favorite traditions is spending Thanksgiving morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I love all of the Broadway performances, the bands, the floats, and especially the balloons.

Every year, Macy's adds a few new balloons to their lineup alongside favorites from previous years. This year, they're adding a new Star Wars balloon: the adorable Grogu from The Mandalorian as he appears as a Funko collectible. And he's chasing after the control knob! So cute!

To celebrate, Funko has created POPVinyl figure that match the new balloon. The new Grogu figures and several t-shirt and hoodie designs will be available from Funko.com and at Macy's flagship store in New York this November.
