Pixar's SparkShorts are incredible, thought-provoking, beautiful, although sometimes sad, short stories from the animators at Pixar. I love watching each new SparkShort and wondering what the story will be. The latest SparkShort, which can be viewed on DisneyPlus, is called "Float". Wouldn't it be amazing if we could all find simple joy to be this uplifting?

I have really enjoyed watching Pixar's SparkShorts. All of them feature some conflict on the road to happiness, and frequently, something quite unexpected. The stories make you feel mixed emotions, but all of them are amazing. Wind is the story of a boy and his grandmother searching for a better life and it's beautiful. Wind, and all of the other SparkShorts, can be viewed on DisneyPlus.

Kitbull, the latest SparkShorts from Pixar, is the story of the unexpected friendship between a stray kitten and an abused pitbull.

Smash and Grab - A SparkShorts From Pixar

Smash and Grab is the latest SparkShorts from Pixar. It's an adorable story about two robot friends who just want to escape their life of never-ending work in a train engine.

It rather reminds me of Wall-E: "Caution, rogue robots!"

Purl - A SparkShorts From Pixar

Pixar has created an imaginative new film program called SparkShorts. The program is aimed at discovering new storytellers, techniques, and artists and allowing them to share stories on a smaller scale. The first three shorts debuted at El Capitan Theatre recently, and will appear on YouTube throughout February.

The first story to be released is called Purl. Purl is a ball of yarn who is about to start her first day at B.R.O. Capital. But how far will she go to fit in?

This looks like a really fun new way for Pixar to share unexpected stories. Additional SparkShorts, as well as the first three, will be available on Disney+, Disney's streaming service that is due to launch later this year.
