A Few Of My Favorite Things at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts

I love the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. It's so much fun to meet your favorite artists, search for Figment in classic artworks, seek out hidden Chalk Full of Character Art, and, of course, some truly tasty food. 

My favorite dishes this year are from the Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina. The Chorizo and Potato Empanada is perfectly spiced, the Passion Fruit-filled Mango Cheesecake is very flavorful and light without being too sweet, and the Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie is cooling and delicious. I would definitely eat all of it again.

The Chalk Art of Luca and Alberto in a wall fountain in the Italy Pavilion is so cute. I love how annoyed Machiavelli looks! And the little purple crab hiding underneath? Adorable.

And we met several of our favorite artists. Ashley Taylor and Jerrod Maruyama are so fun to talk to and I absolutely adore their art. Overall, this may be my favorite EPCOT Festival. 

Soul, Turning Red, & Luca In Theaters

Pixar has announced that three of their movies that were sent straight to DisneyPlus are finally getting a theater release. 

Soul will arrive in theaters on January 12th. Turning Red will arrive on February 9th. And Luca will arrive on March 22nd.

Ciao Alberto Looks Adorable

Pixar has finally released a trailer for Ciao Alberto, a short story about characters from Luca, and it looks so cute! Alberto and Massimo really do "go together like pasta and pesto."

Here's the official synopsis from Pixar: 

With his best friend Luca away at school, Alberto is enjoying his new life in Portorosso working alongside Massimo—the imposing, tattooed, one-armed fisherman of few words—who’s quite possibly the coolest human in the entire world as far as Alberto is concerned. He wants more than anything to impress his mentor, but it’s easier said than done.

Ciao Alberto arrives on DisneyPlus on November 12th.

Pixar's latest short looks so cute! Ciao Alberto is the story of Alberto's life in Portorosso after Luca and Giulia head off the school.

Here's the official synopsis from Pixar:

Life in Portorosso has been a catch for Alberto. With Luca away, he’s been making waves to impress his mentor Massimo, the coolest human around.

Ciao Alberto arrives on DisneyPlus on November 12th.

Luca Splashes Into McDonald’s Happy Meals

Pixar's Luca is the sweetest movie. It's all about friendship and family, and of course, a few loveable sea monsters.  It's absolutely adorable, and so are the toys in McDonald’s Happy Meals. 

There are 8 toys in all:

• Luca Paguro changes color in cold water and has clip on sea monster hair and tail
• Alberto Scorfano changes color in cold water and has clip on sea monster hair and tail
• Luca Pagura wind up sea monster swimmer
• Alberto Scorfano windows up sea monster swimmer
