Spaceship Earth in Disney World is such an interesting ride. It's a journey through the history of human communication inside EPCOT's geosphere. My favorite section is the Renaissance. It's filled with painters, sculptors, and sleeping monks. This artist is painting a still life of fruit, wine, and cheese.

You Oughta Be In Pictures
On the Echo Lake side of Keystone Clothiers, a clothing shop on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood Studios, is what looks like a Mayan temple. Its windows are filled with nods to old movies and this sign above them looks straight out of old Hollywood. In Disney World, you never know what you'll see if you would only look up.

Avatar Skimwing Adventure LEGO
The Avatar movies are incredible. They are amazing stories about the Sully family and their trials and tribulations as they simply try to live on Pandora. LEGO made quite a few sets featuring the Sullys when Avatar: The Way Of Water was released. This set shows Jake Sully learning to ride a skimwing as Tonowari, the leader of the Metkayina Clan, looks on. All three Avatar movies, including the recently released Avatar: Fire and Ash, are available now on DisneyPlus.

LEGO Main Street USA
My latest Disney LEGO set just arrived and I can't wait to put it together. The Main Street USA set has 16 minifigures and 3899 pieces. There's so much to look at!

Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue
Andy's toys can be found throughout Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios. From Jessie and Rex on Slinky Dog Dash to this Buzz Lightyear near the Alien Swirling Saucers, there are familiar faces everywhere you look.

Jaws LEGO Set
I absolutely adore LEGO. It's so fun to sort out the pieces and build something amazing. I had been considering this Jaws set for awhile, so when I saw that it's being retired this summer, I knew it was time to go for it. I love how detailed the Orca is. Bruce the shark looks incredible and Hooper, Brody, and Quint are instantly recognizable. It's a fantastic addition to my collection.

The Birdmobile of the Enchanted Tiki Room
The birds of Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room in the Magic Kingdom are quite an exotic bunch. The showgirls on the Birdmobile are white cockatoos named Collette, Suzette, Mimi, Gigi, Fifi, and Josephine. Together with the other performers, they sing "Let's All Sing Like The Birdies Sing."

Sleepy Loth Cat
There are so many amazing details in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This sleepy Loth Cat in the Creature Stall wags its tail and purrs while snoozing with a stuffed Porg.

Duuuuude
"Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... And Beyond" is my favorite performance at Disney World. The Animal Kingdom show features giant puppets, like Crush, that are totally righteous.

Jessie's Lass-O's
There is so much to see in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. As it is supposed to look like you've become a toy in Andy's backyard, there are giant blocks and toy soldiers, tinker toys and belt buckles, strings of monkeys escaping their barrel and cardboard punch outs, and, of course, toys like Rex, Hamm, Jessie and Buzz. There are also a few fun boxes Andy saved, like this Lass-O's cereal featuring Jessie and the prizes from Toy Story Mania.

Making A Wish
The topiaries at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival are so fun. You never know which character will be hiding around the next corner. In 2024, this Goofy topiary was making a wish on a dandelion near the World Celebration Bridge.

Beauty and the Beast Egg
For the last several years, the Grand Floridian at Disney World has hosted an incredible display of Easter eggs made of chocolate and sugar. The eggs, which generally feature Disney characters, are hand crafted by Cast Members and used to be displayed in the lobby. Some eggs returned from year to year, and new eggs were added as well. This year, the display is quite different with fewer eggs spread out around the second floor.
This Beauty and the Beast egg, created by Cast Member Yadi, was on display in 2024. The inside featured the Enchanted Rose while the Beast and Belle in their finery appeared on the outside. The scene was incredible and the egg rotated so that you could see every element.

Flowers and Butterflies
There are flowers everywhere at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. In Butterfly Landing, the flowers were chosen because they attract butterflies like this Monarch. These flowers include African Daisies, Egyptian Star Flowers, and Lantana.

Butterfly Topiary
This delightful butterfly topiary, made entirely of succulents, was outside Butterfly Landing at the 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

Toy Story Topiaries
There are so many fun topiaries to discover each year at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. In 2024, Toy Story's Woody and Bo Peep were joined by her silly sheep: Billy, Goat, and Gruff. This year's festival runs from March 4 to June 1.

Butterfly Landing at EPCOT
One of the most enjoyable experiences at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is Butterfly Landing. You walk into an rather large enclosure that is filled with several different species of butterflies. They're all flying around and visiting the various flowers. There are signs to help you both identify the plants and butterflies as well as learn a little more about them.
For example, this White Peacock Butterfly is a member of the Brush-Footed Butterfly family. They only walk on four of their six legs, using the front two to detect chemicals found in leaves and flowers. And when they fly, they zigzag to avoid predators.

Donald Duck Topiary
Every spring, fun new character topiaries appear throughout EPCOT for the International Flower and Garden Festival. This Donald Duck topiary, with the adorable bee on his forehead, was near Connections in 2024. I wonder which characters will be featured this year?

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure Queue
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, located in the France Pavilion in EPCOT, has a delightful queue filled with nods to everyone's favorite little chef. There are rats, cheese, and wine in the designs of the wallpaper. As you walk over the rooftops of Paris, you'll see a sign for Gusteau's. If you're lucky, the sign will come to life and Gusteau will welcome you to Paris with a message about Remy's cooking.

Kitty Comforts
Miss kitty always find the most comfortable spot in the house for her naps. When we brought home a few silk covered, down filled pillows (from our favorite second hand store, of course), she immediately claimed one as her own. Silly, bougie kitty.

Animal Kingdom Snowflake
There are so many snowflake designs that can be found throughout Disney World in the winter. This lovely snowflake made up of deer, bears, penguins, birds and other animals was on banners in Animal Kingdom a few years ago.
