These Willow Funko POPVinyl Figures Are Fantastic

Funko has created four new POPVinyl figures celebrating the classic fantasy film Willow. First up is Willow Ufgood, holding baby Elora Danan. Next is Madmartigan in the armor he found at Tir Asleen. Then, General Kael, a Bone Reaver and leader of the Army of Nockmaar.

Finally, there are two different figures of Sorcha. The common figure shows her red hair and the chase wears her helmet. All of the POPVinyl figures stand on a grey base with the movie title in gold. The figures are currently available for pre-order from Entertainment Earth and should be released sometime in May.

In just two more weeks, the epic story of Willow will finally continue. It seems the world is once more in need of the Nelwyn sorcerer as a new quest has begun. In this clip, we meet Sorcha's daughter Kit who has come seeking Willow's help.

The Search For Elora Danan

If you've seen previous trailers for the DisneyPlus series Willow, you probably had the same thought I did: where's Elora Danan? Didn't Willow save her, so that she could, in turn, save everyone? Well, this new special look at Willow might just hold the answer.

Here's the official synopsis from Lucasfilm:

The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible. “Willow” also stars Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Amar Chadha-Patel, Dempsey Bryk, and Joanne Whalley.

I've always loved the movie Willow. It's such a fantastical tale full of evil sorcery and monsters, sword fights and magic, and one grand adventure. Now that tale continues in a new series by the same name which is coming soon to DisneyPlus.

Willow Is Returning For A New Adventure

Lucasfilm made the most amazing announcement yesterday: a sequel to Willow is coming to DisneyPlus. I can't believe, after all these years we're finally getting another story about Willow Ufgood. So cool!
