Disney Junior

Disney
Disney has created a new channel perfect for little ones. Aimed at the pre-school and elementary school set, Disney Junior is where the magic never ends, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Featuring shows such as Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Chuggington, Disney Junior is also the home of new shows like Doc McStuffins and Playhouse Disney classics like Rolie Polie Olie. Personally, I'm hoping they'll bring back other Playhouse Disney favorites, like PB&J Otter. I loved them and Rolie Polie Olie, although I didn't see them until I was in my 20s. Disney Junior is currently available in select markets, but should be expanding soon. To see if Disney Junior is available in your area, please visit the Disney Junior Channel website.

Tinker Bell: The Secret of the Wings

Disney
After several delays and a name change, the next Tinker Bell movie is finally set to be released October 23, 2012. The Secret of the Wings is the final seasonal story in the Fairies collection. Tink and her fairy friends journey to the forbidden Winter Woods and discover a secret that will change them forever. Along the way, they meet Periwinkle, a new winter fairy.

Disney
The Bluray/DVD set will feature tons of new bonus features, taking you deeper into the world of the fairies. To celebrate this new film, Disney has debuted a new Facebook page where parents can find the latest Fairy news and activities for the whole family. Become a Disney Fairies fan now to stay up to date on everyone's favorite fairy. To view clips of the film and for more information, stop by Disney's site The Secret of the Wings.

Agent P's World Showcase Adventure

Disney
If your family is anything like mine, you've seen at least one episode of Phineas and Ferb. In every episode, the two title kids create something amazing that only lasts for one day. Their pet platypus Perry is really a secret agent who transforms into Agent P to stop the ridiculous plans of Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

This summer, probably sometime in June, EPCOT will change the current Kim Possible Adventure into Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. Guests will become Secret Agents who help Agent P in his quest to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz. The adventure will take place in seven World Showcase Pavilions: Japan, China, Mexico, France, Germany, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

Agents will search for clues and evil-inators using an as yet unnamed device much like the current Kimmunicator. So grab your fedora and prepare to set out for adventure!

American Duchess Giveaway

American Duchess
American Duchess has done it again. The historical costumer has created a new shoe that is to die for. The Kensington is a gorgeous, 18th century style ladies heel. They would be appropriate for Colonial reenactors, especially those focused on the 1770s to 1780s. To celebrate the upcoming release of these new shoes, American Duchess is giving away a pair of the Kensingtons, in Ruby Red or Coal Black, and the DVD collection of the independent film series "Courage, New Hampshire", a fictionalized account depicting life in a small town in the years leading up to the American Revolution. Be sure to stop by her blog and check them out.

Pinterest

I've recently become addicted to Pinterest. I know, I know, there are mixed feelings on the subject. However, I use Pinterest as a form of visual bookmarking. I hate searching through bookmarks and trying to remember exactly what it was I liked that made me bookmark that page in the first place. With Pinterest, I can "pin" the relevant picture and leave myself a note in the description so that I remember why I want to go back. At the moment, I'm "pinning" sites that have information I want to use when planning my next trip to Disney World. I've also been "pinning" photos of Muppet cookies to use as inspiration for a new line of felt food I'm creating. It's nice to see all of my inspiration photos in one place.
