I'd never heard this version of "The Headless Horseman" by Bing Crosby before. It's a bit jazzier than the one in Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I rather like it.

A Haunting In Venice Looks Proper Scary

The latest clip from A Haunting In Venice is very spooky. The scene is from a séance that Poirot appears quite skeptical about. I do love a good Agatha Christie mystery!

Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow cartoon from 1949 is one of my favorite Halloween movies. It's a fun and silly, not-so-spooky, classic that I love watching every year. In honor of this delightful film, Disney has created this tankard style Headless Horseman mug. It's a perfect way to add a little Halloween to your morning.

One Wish Can Change Everything

Disney's next animated feature is called Wish. It looks delightful, and quite unique.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney:

In “Wish,” Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. Wish features the voices of  Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino.

Wish arrives in theaters on November 24th.

The first teaser trailer for the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series has arrived and it looks most intriguing. I loved all of Rick Riordan's demigod series, so I'm really hoping that this one sticks closer to the books.
