Pixar's upcoming animated film is the story of the man who's adventures to infinity and beyond inspired a toy: Lightyear. 

Here's the synopsis from Pixar:

The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans. Chris Evans lends his voice to Buzz.

Lightyear arrives in theaters on June 17, 2022.
