A new series from the Star Wars universe is headed to DisneyPlus this summer. Star Wars: The Acolyte is a prequel of sorts, taking place before the events of the Phantom Menace. It looks rather sinister and quite intriguing.
Here's the official synopsis from Lucasfilm:
An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past. As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems…
The first two episodes of Star Wars: The Acolyte will arrive on DisneyPlus on June 4th.
