The first full trailer for Marvel's Echo has arrived and it is dark. Echo is the story of Maya Lopez, who first appeared in the series Hawkeye. It will be the first TV-MA series for Marvel, so it will likely be more serious and more violent than previous series. 

Here's the official synopsis from Marvel:

Streaming exclusively on Disney, the origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.

All five episodes of Echo will arrive on DisneyPlus and Hulu on January 10th.
