Avengers: Infinity War Trailer

Marvel
The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is finally here and it looks incredible. I especially like the shared voiceover that sets the stage for what's to come, "There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if we could become something more. So when they needed us, we could fight the battles that they never could."

Here's the official synopsis from Marvel:

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters on May 4, 2018.

Paddington 2 Trailer and Poster

Studio Canal
It looks like Paddington is back for another adventure. I absolutely adore the first film and can't wait to see the sequel.

Here's the official synopsis:

Paddington 2 finds Paddington happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy's hundredth birthday, Paddington spots a unique pop-up book in Mr. Gruber's antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, it's up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief...

Tsum Tsum Series 8

I love the tiny vinyl Tsum Tsum collectibles from Jakks Pacific. The figures are adorable and their accessories are perfectly themed to each character. And because they're so mini, you can display a lot of them in a small space.

I recently discovered that Series 8 of these cuties had arrived in stores. The set includes ten new figures. I got a little carried away and bought seven of them. The only ones I haven't found are Rafiki in his tree from the Lion King, and Disgust and Fear with their memory balls from Inside Out.

My favorite from this set is Gaston in his antler topped chair. That chair is my favorite place to take pictures at the Magic Kingdom, so I had to have the mini version.

Kermit is sitting on his log, probably getting ready to sing "It's Not Easy Being Green". Moana is steering her boat across the waves and Maui sits in the curve of his fishhook.

Jack Skellington is all decked out for his Christmas ride in his Santa sleigh. Heimlich has nibbled his way through a candy corn, much like in A Bugs Life. And the Maleficent dragon is surrounded by her wall of thorns, and just a whisp of green flames. Which Series 8 Tsum Tsum is your favorite?

A Wrinkle in Time Poster and Trailer

Disney
The latest poster for A Wrinkle in Time is stunning. And the new trailer does a fantastic job of setting up the story.

A Wrinkle in Time arrives in theaters on March 9, 2018. Here's the official synopsis:

From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.

Directed by Emmy(R) winner and Oscar(R) and Golden Globe(R) nominee Ava DuVernay from a screenplay by Oscar winner Jennifer Lee based upon the beloved novel by Madeleine L’Engle, “A Wrinkle in Time” stars: two-time Academy Award(R) nominee Oprah Winfrey, Oscar and Emmy winner Reese Witherspoon, Emmy nominee Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peňa and introducing Storm Reid, with two-time Emmy winner Zach Galifianakis and Emmy nominee Chris Pine.

Incredible 2 Teaser Trailer

Disney/Pixar
Our first look at Incredibles 2 is here! It's going to be awhile before it arrives in theaters, on June 15th, 2018, but so far it looks like another fun adventure.

Here's the official description from Disney & Pixar:

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

Christmas Fun at Hollywood Studios

Christmas has returned to Hollywood Studios with a Flurry of Fun celebration. Along with the return of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, there's the all new Sunset Seasons Greetings along Sunset Boulevard, and a lot of fun retro decorations throughout the park.

Disney
Sunset Seasons Greetings looks like it will be quite magical. It features billboards that come alive with Christmas stories from favorite characters. The Hollywood Tower Hotel will be transformed into a pile of gifts, gingerbread house, and a winter wonderland through the use of amazing projections. And special characters will be on hand, such as the Swedish Chef. Olaf, and a few Toy Story pals. And even more incredible, is the snow. There's something truly magical about Disney snow that turns everyone into a child again, if only for a moment.

Disney
Echo Lake has also gotten a makeover. The park's Christmas tree is now in the lake, surrounded by floating ornament that light up. Dino Gertie has a new Santa hat, and the reindeer in front of 50s Prime Time are adorably retro.

Disney
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! is once again following those wacky elves from Prep and Landing as they race to get Santa back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve. The show is filled with music, projections, fireworks, special effects, and a message from the head elf himself.

Santa can also be found in the Once Upon a Time shop every night through December 24. After that, Santa Goofy will step in until December 31.

Olaf's Frozen Adventure Advent Calendar

Every year, I look for a new advent calendar to help count down the days until Christmas. Last year, it was filled with Tsum Tsums. This year, I chose a calendar filled with figures from Olaf's Frozen Adventure.

There are 25 figures featuring Christmas traditions that Olaf discovers in the upcoming short film: a sleigh, gifts, a snowflake fountain, gingerbread castle, kitten, wreath, candy cane, yul bock, and Olaf in several different costumes. It looks adorable! I can't wait until December 1 rolls around and I can start opening doors.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... well, at Disney World anyway. I was in the parks on Halloween night, and by November 1, Christmas was everywhere at Hollywood Studios and the next night, it arrived in the Magic Kingdom, too. It really is an amazing transformation.

Anti-Bullying Message from Disney Features Judy Hopps

Disney
If you've seen Zootopia, you know that overcoming bullying is a big theme in the film. Both Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde were bullied as children, and as adults, but through strength and friendship, they overcame every obstacle. Disney has created a special "As Told By Emoji" short to help spread the word that bullying is not cool, but remember, you're never alone. And in the words of Judy Hopps, "Anyone can be anything."

Tsum Tsum Micro Advent Calendar

Disney has released the cutest Tsum Tsum plush advent calendar. The set, which includes 25 micro Tsums, features Mickey and his pals, Winnie the Pooh characters, Bambi and Thumper, Stitch and Angel, and at least one Dalmatian. All of the characters are dressed in something wintery or Christmassy. I especially like Pluto dressed as hot cocoa complete with marshmallow and Louie (Donald's nephew) on an innertube for sledding. The whole set is adorable, but at $125 in the parks or $100 from ShopDisney, its a bit expensive.
