Descendants 2 on Dancing With the Stars

The VKs from Descendants were on Dancing with the Stars last Monday to promote the upcoming Descendants 2. They performed a medley of "WICKED" and "Rotten to the Core", which was very entertaining. Descendants 2 arrives on the Disney Channel on July 21.

Disney is returning to Auradon with a new story about the Villain Kids. This time around, Red, the daughter of the Red Queen, and Chloe, the daughter of Cinderella, must work together to save the kingdom.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney: 

Former Villain Kid Uma, now headmaster of Auradon Prep, extends an invite to the school to another VK – Red, the rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts from Wonderland. After the Queen of Hearts incites a coup against Auradon, Red must team up with Cinderella’s perfectionist daughter Chloe and travel back in time to try to undo the traumatic event that set Red’s mother down her villainous path.

Descendants 4: The Rise of Red arrives on DisneyPlus on July 12th.

This Descendants 3 Trailer Is Wicked

A full trailer for Disney's Descendants 3 has arrived and things are definitely looking grim for Mal. At first, it seems like all her Auradon dreams are finally coming true. But VKs are never that lucky, are they? This time, their fairy tale life may come to an end.

The VKs are back to save the world yet again in Descendants 3. This time around, they'll face three new villains: Hades, Dr. Facilier, and his daughter Celia, as well as an old foe, Uma.

Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sofia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce) and Jay (BooBoo Stewart) return to the Isle of the Lost to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep. When a barrier breach jeopardizes the safety of Auradon during their departure off the Isle, Mal resolves to permanently close the barrier, fearing that nemeses Uma (China Anne McClain) and Hades (Cheyenne Jackson) will wreak vengeance on the kingdom. Despite her decision, an unfathomable dark force threatens the people of Auradon, and it's up to Mal and the VKs to save everyone in their most epic battle yet.

Descendants 2 Chillin' Like a Villain

Descendants 2 aired on the Disney Channel recently, and when I saw it, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect, after Teen Beach Movie 2 was so terrible, but Descendants 2 was actually pretty good. The music was catchy, the story was cute, and it had a fun ending. It's definitely one to rewatch. In the meantime, here's a song featuring Evie, Carlos, and Jay as they try to help King Ben blend in on the Isle of the Lost.

Disney has released a new teaser for Descendants 3 called "Mal's Darkness." It looks like Mal is in for a major battle against the dark forces that threaten her future.

When a travelling Hall of Horrors arrives in Danville, a group of high school friends can't wait to be spooked. The monsters are lifelike and Dr Hysteria and his assistant Lilith really know how to scare. But when the kids discover a haunted cabinet that traps souls, it's up to them to stop the mayhem before they're trapped forever. Starring Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan of Liv and Maddie.

The Disney Family Singalong Airs Tonight

Tonight at 8PM Eastern time, ABC will broadcast a musical special filled with the magic of Disney. Ryan Seacrest is hosting an hour-long Disney Family Singalong. An amazing lineup of celebrities and their families will be singing favorite Disney songs from home. The show begins with a vocal warm up by Kristin Chenoweth and an introduction by Elle Fanning. And then it's time to singalong! (And don't worry that you'll forget the words, an animated character will guide you through the on-screen lyrics.)
