While riding Pirates of the Caribbean last month, I noticed something new: scents have been added to different areas. Apparently, the imagineers "plussed it" during its latest update. (Walt Disney loved to "plus it", or add a little something extra to every attraction.)
The wench auction now smells of perfume. Near the pirate who is drinking with the kitties, you can smell cheap, red wine. And the town engulfed in flames now smells like it's burning.
I love this new addition to one of my favorite rides. It adds a certain something extra to the experience. Photos courtesy of Disney.
