As part of the Disney100 Celebration, Sara Bareilles recorded a new arrangement of the Disney classic "When You Wish Upon A Star". Accompanied by an orchestra in Glasgow, Scotland and a choir in London, England, the result is simply beautiful.
Pixar'sElemental looks very fun. It reminds me a bit of Zootopia(which I love!), so it will be interesting to see how they differ. In this clip, Wade and Ember are getting to know a little more about each other and the different worlds they come from.

There's something incredibly nostalgic about going to the drive-in theater to watch a double feature. One of my earliest movie memories is of watching Superman 2 and Raiders of the Lost Ark at our local drive-in. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the first patented drive-in theater on June 6th. So find a local drive-in and enjoy a few movies. You'll be glad you did.
The latest trailer for Marvel'sSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse shows more of the one realm in the Multiverse that is entirely populated by Spider-People. (And at least one Spider-Cat!) And wow are there a lot of them!

I do love watching fireworks. My favorite way to end a day at Disney World is to find a good spot and settle in to watch the fireworks, often to the annoyance of my exhausted family. But there's something about the way they light up the sky that always makes me happy.
I can't believe the Indiana Jones stories are coming to an end. I understand why they need to: Harrison Ford is 80 years old for goodness sake. But I am definitely going to miss them. Those movies are a big part of what led me to study Anthropology, so they'll always have a special place in my heart. The new trailer for Haunted Mansion looks amazing. It appears this one will be somewhat dark as well as funny. Are you ready to "take the ride to the other side?"
Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters.
Directed by Justin Simien, the film features an all-star cast ensemble cast including LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon and Dan Levy, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Stir together butter, sugar, and graham cracker crumbs in a medium bowl. Firmly press the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake crust for 8 minutes. Cool slightly.
Filling
2 cups sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons key lime juice
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Whisk together sweetened condensed milk and key lime juice in a medium bowl. Whisk in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and stir to combine.
Slowly pour filling into crust. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until set.

This lyric music video for Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem's new song is so very Muppet retro. I love it! It sounds like they're well on their way to recording their first album, which is the basis for the latest Muppet series, The Muppets Mayhem. It should be a blast.

There's just something about the music of the bagpipes that I absolutely love. (Must be all that Celtic ancestry.) I heard the John Mohr Mackintosh Pipes and Drums perform at this year's Highland Weekend at the Georgia Renaissance Festival. They were fantastic!

The first trailer for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakeshas arrived and it looks incredible. As with the previous films, it looks like this one will stick pretty closely to the book, which is fantastic. I can't wait to see it!
