Can you believe Pixar has been around for 40 years? In that time, they've made 29 films (all of which are available on DisneyPlus). I can't wait to see what adventures they create in the years to come.

I love what happens when LEGO takes on familiar, beloved stories. The results are generally hilarious and always entertaining. LEGO's latest series of animated shorts is LEGO Pixar: Bricktoons. 

Here's the official synopsis from LEGO & Pixar:

“LEGO Pixar: BrickToons” catches up with Marlin and Dory from “Finding Nemo,” Jack-Jack and his super siblings Dash and Violet from “The Incredibles,” Lightning McQueen and Mater from “Cars,” Merida and her rambunctious baby brothers from “Brave,” and Miguel and Hector from “Coco” in an all-new series of LEGO-styled animated adventures for which no assembly is required. 

All five episodes of LEGO Pixar: BrickToons will arrive on DisneyPlus on September 4th.

Take An Exhilarating Virtual Ride On The Incredicoaster

The Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure is quite the ride. I've only ridden it once, back when it was called California Screamin', and it was truly exhilarating. This coaster has it all: high speed, fast drops, and a full loop that I found rather terrifying. And now, it's filled with scenes of the Parr family from The Incredibles. Disney has created a virtual ride video that is a blast to watch. And its filled with fun facts about the Incredicoaster, as well. (This video has since been removed.).

Meeting Edna Mode

As part of the Incredibles Celebration in Pixar Place at Hollywood Studios, guests can meet the fabulous designer, Edna Mode. When you enter the queue, you'll notice a wall of Edna Mode quotes, such as "Luck favors the prepared" and "Fear not, for I have arrived." And then of course, there's my favorites "No capes!" and "I never look back, darling, it distracts from the now."

Then there are several of Edna's best designs in the Supersuit Gallery. Frozone's suit includes a visor made with frost resistant glass and boots equipped with slip resistant micro-grip soles.

Dash's suit can withstand friction levels up to 348.7 mph and has boots with maximum traction.

Just before you meet Edna, you can see some of her many awards and several of the magazine covers she's graced. Finally, it's time to meet the designer herself. Edna loves to strike a pose and take photos, so this Meet and Greet is a lot of fun. The Incredibles Celebration only lasts until September 30, so be sure to meet Edna Mode while you can.

Incredibles 2 on Blu-ray

Incredibles 2 arrives on Blu-ray and DVD today and it is a sequel worth waiting for. The film picks up right where the first movie left off, with the continuing adventures of the Parr family. Caution: Spoilers Ahead!

In Incredibles 2, the Parr family are still hiding their powers, because being sure is illegal. They are staying in a hotel with no plan for what comes next when they receive an unexpected offer. A wealthy businessman, who grew up loving superheroes, wants to make using superpowers legal again, and he needs help from Elastigirl.

This is where the fun starts. Helen loves her new job, but worries about her family. Bob is completely overwhelmed taking care of the kids: Jack-Jack with his incredible multitude of powers, learning "new math" with Dash, and trying to understand teenager Violet. Unfortunately, a new villain, The Screenslaver, arrives on the scene, threatening their future. This Incredible family has to work together with Super friends both old and new to stop the villain and bring Supers back to the world.

Incredibles 2 Sneak Peek - Jack-Jack and the Raccoon

Jack-Jack and the raccoon was one of my favorite scenes in Incredibles 2. It just makes me laugh and laugh! I can't wait to see the entire movie again.

Incredibles 2 arrives on Digital on October 23 and Blu-ray on November 6.

I love the very retro theme songs Michael Giacchino composed for Incredibles 2. My favorite has got to be "Here Comes Elastigirl." It's so catchy!

Incredibles 2 Vintage Toy Commercials

Incredibles 2 will arrive in theaters on June 15. In the meantime, Disney and Pixar have released three incredibly hilarious "vintage" toy commercials to get you laughing while you wait.

The Incredibles As Told By Emoji

The Incredibles is the latest Pixar film to become an As Told By Emoji short. I love the results that are displayed when Elastigirl searches for "something fast." And the Frozone "Where is my super suit!?" moment. Too hilarious!

"Incredible" Treats Have Arrived at the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo

The Incredible Tomorrowland Expo kicked off recently, and it has brought some Incredible treats to the Magic Kingdom. At the Tomorrowland Terrace, try the Dash Pizza, a Sicilian-style pizza available as cheese or pepperoni.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe has two new entrees: 

• The Super Foods Salad includes kale, spinach, quinoa, avocado, blueberries, and pico de gallo
• The Super Stretchy Burger is flame-grilled Angus beef with deep fried mozzarella sticks, American cheese, bacon, and garlic ranch sauce

If you'd prefer something sweet, check out the treats at Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies. There you will find two versions of Edna Mode's No Capes, Just Crepes Sundae.

• The Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe is topped with ice cream and berries
• The Blackberry-Lavender Jam Crepe is topped with ice cream and Froot Loops

The Lunching Pad is the perfect place for a quick snack. 

• The Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask is a soft pretzel with black salt
• The Jack-Jack Cookies are a bag of fresh, mini chocolate chip cookies

Finally, be sure to stop by a Tomorrowland Snack Cart. There, you'll find Frozone's Sno-Cones, a blue raspberry flavored treat perfect for a hot summer day.

The Incredible Tomorrowland Expo runs through September 3. In addition to delicious food, guests can find super new merchandise, meet Incredibles characters, and hang out at a Super Dance Party in Rockettower Plaza from 2-7PM daily.

LEGO has an "Incredible" New Game On the Way

I love the Lego videogames. They are a ton of fun to play and can be quite addicting. The latest LEGO game features that irrepressible family of supers, the Incredibles. Team up with the Parr family to take on villains and protect the citizens of Municiberg and New Urbem.
LEGO The Incredibles will be available on three systems: Playstation4, XBoxOne, and Nintendo Switch. It arrives in stores on June 15.

Inspired by both films, LEGO® The Incredibles allows players to tackle crime as the super-powered Parr Family. You’ll get to explore action-packed story levels and an epic hub world, including Municiberg and New Urbem, as you use your unique super abilities to bring the city’s villains to justice. New Incredibles 2 Poster and Sneak Peek

Incredibles 2 has an awesome new minimalist poster with silhouettes of our favorite family of supers. And this sneak peek shows us a little more of Elastigirl's new job, and Bob's constant struggle to keep Jack-Jack contained. It looks like it will be hilarious! Incredibles 2 arrives in theaters on June 15.

These Mystery Minis are Totally Incredible

To celebrate Incredibles 2 coming to theaters in June, Funko has created a ton of new collectibles featuring our favorite family of supers. I really like these Mystery Minis. They are the perfect size for collecting a lot of them, and the style of the characters is awesome. This set has 12 regular figures, plus three additional figures that are exclusive to Target.

The figures include: Elastigirl in her new uniform, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, the Screenslaver, Violet, Jack-Jack, Edna Mode, the Underminer, Dash, Voyd, Frozone, and Fire Jack-Jack.

The three Target exclusives are Monster Jack-Jack, a Raccoon, and Reflux. The Incredibles 2 Mystery Minis are available in stores now.

Pixar's Latest Short "Bao" Is All About Family

I love the Pixar shorts that are shown before each new movie, especially the ones about family, like La Luna and Piper. They've all been fantastic little stories, and the latest short sounds absolutely beautiful.

Bao tells the story of a Chinese mother who is saddened by her empty nest.

One day, one of her bao, or dumplings, suddenly comes to life as a little boy. She gets a second chance at motherhood, but quickly realizes that children will always grow up too soon.

The story, which was written and directed by Domee Shi, (the first woman to direct a Pixar short) was based in part on her relationship with her mother. Shi chose a dumpling to come alive because they were an important part of her childhood.

"I would make them with my mom as a little girl so I always had a special connection with dumplings and spending time with my mom," Shi said. "We’d make them while watching Chinese dramas together all weekend, or during the holidays and before the New Year."

Shi's mother was very involved in one important part of the short. She came to the Pixar offices to demonstrate how to make dumplings, and the technique and skill that goes into them, which the animators referenced when making the film. Bao will debut with Incredibles 2 on June 15.
