This Isn't Happening!

Poor Mei Lee

Poor Mei Lee! The more clips I see of Pixar's Turning Red the more excited I am to see the entire film. It really looks like a hilarious take on the trials and tribulations of growing up.

"Nobody Like U" from Turning Red

Pixar's Turning Red

Pixar's Turning Red looks so cute and funny. The first song from the film has arrived, with an adorable music video complete with lyrics.

"Nobody Like U" totally reminds me of my teenage years, buying copies of Teen Beat for a glimpse of my favorite band, and covering everything in Lisa Frank stickers. Hilarious!

It's Gonna Be Mei!

Pixar's Turning Red
Pixar

The first full trailer for Pixar's Turning Red has arrived and it is a riot! Poor Mei Lee. As if being a teenager isn't hard enough.

Here's the official synopsis from Pixar:

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee (Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

Turning Red arrives on DisneyPlus on March 11, 2022.

Turning Red Takes On A Whole New Meaning In Pixar's Latest

Pixar's Turning Red
Pixar

Pixar's next film takes on the trials and tribulations of being a teenager in an unexpected fashion. Growing up really is a beast!

Here's the official synopsis from Pixar:

From Pixar Animation Studios’ director Domee Shi, who won an Oscar for her 2018 short film, “Bao,” comes the all-new original feature film “Turning Red.” Young actress Rosalie Chiang lends her voice to Mei Lee, a 13-year-old who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS). Sandra Oh voices Mei Lee’s protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, who is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.

Turning Red arrives on DisneyPlus on March 11, 2022.
