The second trailer for Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom has arrived and it looks hilarious. It seems that Shaun has become a mad scientist and created something unexpected. 

Here's the official synopsis from Aardman Animation:

"Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom" sees the residents of Mossy Bottom Farm looking forward to Halloween – until the clumsy Farmer trashes the Flock’s beloved pumpkin patch! When Shaun turns mad scientist to fix the problem, things rapidly spiral out of control... With The Farmer missing and a wild beast roaming the woods of Mossingham, all the ingredients are in place for a monstrously fun family adventure.

I don't quite know why, but I love Shaun the Sheep. There's just something hilarious about the crazy antics of Shaun and the rest of the flock. In this Christmas episode, Shaun and his pals decide to make a very special Christmas for the Farmer.

I look forward each year to the wild and crazy Christmas commercials that retailers have created. They are sometimes fun, and sweet, and poignant, but always a delightful Christmas treat.

This first video is from Barbour, who has partnered with Aardman once again for a Wallace and Gromit commercial that is absolutely hilarious.

Asda shows how the Grinch would feel if he had to go shopping for Christmas this year.

Dawn French is back once again (as herself and the Christmas fairy) for Marks & Spencer. This year, she's "traffic jamming."

Waitrose's "The Perfect Gift" is long for an ad, but absolutely hilarious! This mini romcom between a very unexpected couple had us cracking up.

Sainsbury's brought the BFG back again this year for another Christmas adventure. 

Aldi has returned once again to the story of Kevin the Carrot with three short ads inspired by Love Actually. This year, Kevin makes a very special proposal.

But will he make it to the wedding?

Of course, there's a happy ending.

Chevy's "Memory Lane" commercial is surprisingly sweet.

Erste Bank has a beautiful new "believe" ad. This year's theme is "believe in yourself."

And finally, Capital One brought back John Travolta as Santa for "Greased Sleigh-Ridin".

The latest trailer for Aardman's Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is absolutely hilarious. Poor Gromit, he's always getting dragged into some crazy scheme involving one of Wallace's inventions.

It's time for another roundup of sappy, happy Christmas commercials. There were so many good ones this year! I do love the creativity that goes into these holidays advertisements.

Lidl always has cute Christmas commercials. This one features a raccoon who goes to extraordinary lengths to save one little boy's Christmas.

The Marks & Spencer fairy (Dawn French) is back again this year. This time, she's rescued a pair of very familiar sounding mittens from the snow. (Yes, that's Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.)

Amazon's "Joy Ride" ad shows three old friends who decide to revisit their youth.

This year's Barbour ad stars Shaun the Sheep and his pals as they try to fix up the Farmer's coat for Christmas.

This John Lewis ad is quite unique. It's the story of Snapper, a most unusual, and unexpected, Christmas tree.

Two different ads this year have kids who wonder what Santa would like for Christmas. The first is from Macy's.

And this hilarious adventure is from Boots.

This Tesco ad is a bit crazy, but I guess that's one way to "become more Christmas."

Aldi brought back Kevin the Carrot this year, but with a special Willy Wonka-esque twist.

Coca-Cola reminds us that anyone can be Santa Claus.

And finally, John Travolta appears as Santa Claus in this holiday spin on Saturday Night Fever from Capital One.

I needed a good laugh today, and few things make me laugh more than the ridiculous antics of Shaun the Sheep. The first episode, "Little Sheep of Horrors", is especially funny.

I love that the werewolf movie is called simply "Aroooo". Hilarious!

Be Merry In Merino

Aardman Animation, in collaboration with the Woolmark Company, have created an adorable Shaun the Sheep short celebrating knitting wool Christmas gifts. I love knitting with wool so this short really appeals to me.

Poor Shirley! At least things turn out well in the end.

Robin Robin Is Adorable

Aardman Animation always makes the cutest, although frequently rather peculiar, movies and series. I've loved Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep for years. This year, they created two delightful Christmas specials for Netflix: Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas and Robin Robin. 

Robin Robin is the sweet story of a cheerful little bird who has been raised by a family of mice. Of course, minor catastrophe ensues every time Robin attempts to be a good mouse, but it's rather adorable.

Robin Robin is now available on Netflix.

I adore Shaun the Sheep! There's just something delightful in the ridiculous antics he and his fleecy pals get up to around the farm. This year, the sheep are heading out for a new holiday adventure and it looks like it's going to be a wild ride.

I absolutely adore Aardman Animation's Shaun the Sheep. The characters make me laugh every episode without ever saying a word. I love watching old and new episodes on NetflixNetflix and am always of the lookout for a Shaun the Sheep craft to do. For even more Shaun the Sheep inspired fun, how about trying these recipes for Shaun and Bitzer pancakes.

Shaun the Sheep Turns 25

I absolutely adore Aardman Animation's Shaun the Sheep. There's just something about that wiley wooly that cracks me up without ever saying a word. Recently, Aardman celebrated the 25th anniversary of Shaun's first appearance in Wallace and Gromit's A Close Shave. 

I can't believe Shaun has been delighting us for a quarter of a century. I hope there are many more Adventures from Mossy Bottom to come.

Shaun the Sheep Is Back For More Adventures!

I love Shaun the Sheep! I don't know what it is about that crazy sheep his pals, but their farmyard adventures crack me up. So I was very excited to discover that a new series has appeared on Netflix: Shaun the Sheep: Adventures from Mossy Bottom.

New adventures and new characters alongside the same loveable gang from Mossy Bottom Farm; what's not to like? You know how this makes me feel?

Ten episodes are available now with ten more to come soon. I know what I'll be watching when I'm stuck at home!

These Wallace And Gromit POPVinyl Are Awesome!

Funko recently announced many of their upcoming collections for 2020 at the London Toy Fair. There are a ton of fun POPVinyls to look forward to, but my favorite so far is the new Wallace and Gromit set. There are three figures: a very happy Wallace, an inquisitive Gromit, and a contented Shaun the sheep. These awesome POPVinyl should arrive in stores around May.

These Christmas Commercials Will Really Put You In The Spirit

I absolutely love Christmas commercials! The sappy ones that require several tissues, the adorable animated ones, and the ones that make you laugh out loud, I love them all. This year, I've found a few fantastic commercials to share with you. Hopefully, they'll bring a smile to your face, too.

This first commercial features my favorite claymation duo from Aardman Animation. Wallace and Gromit make for a cracking good commercial.

The next commercial features a Tesco delivery van that takes an unexpected journey through time.

This advert from John Lewis & Partners reminds me of one of my favorite Christmas songs, "Darcy the Dragon".

Sainsbury's ad features a clever take on the origins of Santa Claus.

This Aldi ad from Australia features a most unique ham with the power to bring everyone together.

Shaun the Sheep and his barnyard pals will be getting up to their usual antics in a new movie arriving next spring.

I absolutely adore the animated movies and tv shows from Aardman Studios. I've been a huge Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep fan for years. So imagine my delight when I discovered they have a new story in the works: Early Man.

Here's the official synopsis from Aardman Animation:

Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug (Eddie Redmayne) and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Tom Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home.
