Have you spotted this helmet and rocket pack from The Rocketeer at Hollywood Studios? It can be found at a frozen drink stand called, quite appropriately, Peevy's Polar Pipeline. I love finding the movie props hidden throughout Hollywood Studios. 

Halloween at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

For the first time, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is celebrating Halloween in a big way. From over the top decorations to a selection of ghoulish treats, there's a lot to enjoy at this Disney Springs restaurant. 

Everywhere you look, there's wild and retro to enjoy. From a Beistle-style black cat band to tons of jack o'lanterns in every nook and cranny, it's a real blast from the past. And, of course, there are a few hidden "Easter Eggs".

Bigelow's Air Circus is nod to Disney's The Rocketeer, as are the South Seas Club coasters you may see. And then, of course, there are the treats. The following sweets and treats will be available until November 4th.

• Alien Invader Sliders: Crispy Nashville hot fried chicken, sliced provolone, dill pickle slices, cheddar-chive biscuit, and queen olives

• Cursed Mummy Sausages: Mini smoked sausages wrapped in puff pastry and served with pomegranate-mustard sauce 

• Phantom Dumplings: Chicken and pork dumplings wrapped in rice paper and served with teriyaki dipping sauce

• Zombie Eye Bites: Traditional deviled egg filling, crispy fried chicken, and black olives

• Snake Egg Surprise: Simply Lemonade, lime juice, desert pear syrup, and green apple boba pearls (Non-alcoholic)

• Cauldron Cooler: Hendrick’s Gin, Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and butterfly pea extract
• Scarab Beetle Essence: Siesta Key Silver Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, DOLE Pineapple juice, and grenadine

• Skull of the Dead: Mojo pork, cheddar, flour tortilla, and pickle pico de gallo

• The Spike Trap: Malibu Coconut Rum, Stoli Vanilla Vodka, cream of coconut, and Sprite garnished with a ghost marshmallow

Disney Dreams That Soar At Disney Springs

A new nighttime drone show is headed to Disney Springs this Thursday. The theme of the show is characters who dream of flying. Some 800 drones (more than double the number of drones in Starlight Holidays) will work in sync with familiar music to create a stunning display across the night sky. From a Baymax who inflates to nearly twice the height of Spaceship Earth, to classic characters like Dumbo and Peter Pan, and unexpected favorites such as the Rocketeer, there will be something for everyone. 

There will be two shows nightly, weather permitting, from May 24 - September 2. The best place to watch the 10 minute show will be along the waterway in the Disney Springs West Side.

POP! Vinyl Series 5

Funko

I just love Funko's POP! Vinyl collections, especially the Disney collections. I have a few from the first three series, and really want the Captain Jack Sparrow from series  four. On June 15th, the fifth series will be released. It includes several classic characters from early Disney movies as well as new characters from Pixar films. Here's the list of of characters for series 5: Baloo and King Louie from the Jungle Book, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Carl and Russell from UP, Jafar, Jasmine, and Genie from Aladdin, the Rocketeer, Merida from Brave, and Mary Poppins.

And be sure to keep an eye out for the new Cupcake Keepsakes. They are a crazy combination of Disney characters and cupcakes and they are adorable! Cupcake Keepsakes are 3 inches tall and have removable frosting  and a super cute display that looks like a pedestal cake stand with a cover. Apparently, you can store things in their heads. Characters are expected to include Lilo and Stitch, Mickey and Minnie, Tinker Bell, Snow White and the Evil Queen, Maleficent, Winnie the Pooh, and Miss Piggy and Kermit.
