The final trailer for IF has arrived and it looks so cute! I can't wait to see how Bea manages to help all of the Imaginary Friends.

Adorable, right? Here's the official synopsis from Paramount:

From writer and director John Krasinski, IF is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids. IF stars Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, and the voices of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Gossett Jr. and Steve Carell alongside many more as the wonderfully unique characters that reflect the incredible power of a child’s imagination.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves looks so funny! I love a good action/adventure movie that's filled with humor, so I can't wait to watch this.

I love Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge's story of redemption is one I read and watch most every year. This year, there's a new version heading to theaters, with a rather unexpected star: Johnny Depp.

Here's the official synopsis from Paramount: 

This November, Johnny Depp is Ebenezer Scrooge. The name you know, the story you don’t. From Ti West, "Ebenezer" also stars Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, Arthur Conti, Ellie Bamber, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Charlie Murphy, with Tramell Tillman and Ian McKellen.

Ebenezer arrives in theaters on November 13th.

Scream 7

Don't ask me why, but I love the Scream series. I remember previewing the first film, back when theaters used actual film reels, with a small group of friends after midnight. We were all debating who would turn out to be the killer. (I was half right.) When it opened officially the next night, I watched it again just to see the audience's reactions. 

The kiddo has come to love them just as much as I do, so when Scream 6 arrived in theaters, we headed to the drive-in to watch it. It's a completely different experience watching a scary movie at a drive-in. You are definitely more aware of anything moving past you in the dark. It was a lot of fun! 

The latest movie in the series sees the return of Sidney Prescott. This time, the Ghostface killer is after her daughter.

When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Scream 7 arrives in theaters today, February 27th.

Top Gun Is Turning 40?!

When certain movies reach milestone anniversaries, you start to feel old. For me, it has always been the Star Wars films that make me really notice the passage of time. However, I was rather obsessed with Top Gun when it was released, so this one got me. Top Gun is turning 40, and to celebrate, it is returning to theaters, for one week only, alongside Top Gun: Maverick.
