Avengers: Endgame On Digital And Blu-ray

Marvel
The moment you've been waiting for is finally here: Avengers: Endgame arrives on Digital today. If you'd prefer the Blu-ray, it won't be released until August 13. A word of warning, if you haven't watched Avengers: Endgame yet don't watch the following trailers! They do contain spoilers.

Both versions include loads of extras including:
  • Remembering Stan Lee – Filmmakers and cast honor the great Stan Lee in a fond look back at his MCU movie cameos.
  • Setting The Tone: Casting Robert Downey Jr. – Hear the tale of how Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Tony Stark in the original "Iron Man" — and launched the MCU.
  • A Man Out of Time: Creating Captain America – Trace the evolution of Captain America with those who helped shape the look, feel and character of this compelling hero.
  • Black Widow: Whatever It Takes – Follow Black Widow's journey both within and outside the Avengers, including the challenges she faced and overcame along the way.
  • The Russo Brothers: Journey to Endgame – See how Anthony and Joe Russo met the challenge of helming two of the biggest films in cinematic history ... back-to-back!
  • The Women of the MCU – MCU women share what it was like to join forces for the first time in an epic battle scene — and be part of such a historic ensemble.
  • Bro Thor – His appearance has changed but his heroism remains! Go behind the scenes to see how Bro Thor was created.
  • Six Deleted Scenes – "Goji Berries," "Bombs on Board," "Suckiest Army in the Galaxy," "You Used to Frickin' Live Here," "Tony and Howard" and "Avengers Take a Knee."
  • Gag Reel – Laugh along with the cast in this epic collection of flubs, goofs and gaffes from set.
  • Visionary Intro - Intro by directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
  • Audio Commentary - Audio commentary by directors Anthony and Joe Russo, and writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

There's also an additional Digital exclusive:

Steve and Peggy: One Last Dance– Explore Captain America and Peggy Carter’s bond, forged in moments from previous films that lead to a momentous choice in “Avengers: Endgame.”

Here's a sneak peek at one of the deleted scenes, "Avengers Take a Knee." I'll warn you, it's a heartbreaker.

The first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has arrived and it's a doozy. It looks like the merc with a mouth is in for another wild ride, one that will bring him into the MCU.

In the first 30 seconds, Wade Wilson has an encounter with the TVA from the Loki Multiverse, tying him into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And by the end, at least one of the X-Men has arrived in the MCU as well.

Black Widow Is A Fantastic Way To Start MCU Phase 4

Marvel
The Avengers weren't her first family, and it looks like Black Widow is returning to her roots. Taking place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Black Widow follows Natasha Romanoff back to where it all began, and her first family: fellow Black Widows Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), and Red Guardian (David Harbour).

It looks like Phase 4 of the MCU is going off with a bang. Black Widow arrives in theaters on May 1, November 6, July 9, 2021.

Avengers: Infinity War On Digital and Blu-ray

Marvel
Avengers: Infinity War is available on Digital today. It will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 14. I saw the film in the theater and I have to say, it was incredible, and intense, and occasionally funny, though often terribly sad as well. This is one film that I would hate to spoil with a review (and I would have a hard time sharing my favorite parts without spoiling it!) That being said, it was amazing and I talked about it constantly, considering all of the possibilities it presented, for weeks after seeing it. It was amazing seeing such a large cast bring all of their stories together to tell a new one. I can't wait to see where the story goes next.

The Blu-ray and Digital release will include a wealth of bonus features, including:
  • Strange Alchemy - See MCU characters meet for the first time and learn why they were teamed up
  • The Mad Titan - learn more about Thanos
  • Beyond the Battle: Titan - go behind the scenes on Thanos' ruined world
  • Beyond the Battle: Wakanda - a behind the scenes look at Marvel's most challenging battle
  • Deleted Scenes - Happy Knows Best, Hunt for the Mind Stone, The Guardians Get Their Groove Back, and A Father's Choice
  • Gag Reel
  • Audio Commentary
  • Digital Exclusive - A Directors' Roundtable - eight directors discuss how their movies fit together in the MCU

Thunderbolts* on DisneyPlus
Marvel

At long last, the wait is nearly over. Marvel's Thunderbolts* (The New Avengers) us headed to DisneyPlus. This is such a fun movie and I can't wait to watch it again.

In "Thunderbolts*", Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?

The cast also includes newcomers to the MCU — Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, and Wendell Edward Pierce.

The final trailer for Marvel’s Thunderbolts* is the most intense. They may not be heroes yet, and most of them have a lot of regrets, but they have one last shot at redemption.

In "Thunderbolts*", Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell).
