You Are About To Enter... The Twilight Zone

I love the Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios. From the queue, to the storyline, to the ride itself, it's a fantastic journey through the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The hotel is delightfully decayed, from it's unkempt ground to its dust filled lobby, it gives an air of past glamour now lost. Disney's latest "Ride & Learn" video takes you on a trip into... the Twilight Zone.

"Hollywood, 1939. Amid the glitz and the glitter of a bustling young movie talent at the height of its golden age, the Hollywood Tower Hotel was a star in its own right. A beacon for the show business elite. Now, something is about to happen that will change all that." 

I do hope you all made it back. The Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios is my favorite version of the ride, but for a real fright, you should try the version found in Disneyland Paris. Now that's scary!

Christmas At Hollywood Studios

The Christmas fun kicks off at Hollywood Studios today. From merry motorcades filled with characters in their holiday finery, to glittery retro decorations, to a flurry of festive treats it should be a magical season. Santa will be riding down Hollywood Boulevard in a red convertible filled with presents. 

The Frozen Sing-Along will finish each performance with a festive finale featuring Olaf and favorite holiday songs. The holiday projections on the Hollywood Tower Hotel return this year, transforming the tower into a Toy Story toy hotel, Mickey's Christmas Carol inspired village, snowy scene in Arendelle, and a Muppets gingerbread creation.

Hollywood Studios has an amazing new photo opportunity at the Tower of Terror. Just stop by Tower Photo in the lobby to get your lenticular photo showing you entering the Twilight Zone. The 8x10 inch print costs $19.95 + tax and is not part of PhotoPass. This looks like so much fun!

I love the atmosphere of decayed grandeur in the lobby of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Between the decor and the music, it sets the perfect mood for the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios.
