Marvel + Funko + Pez = Awesome!

Marvel and Funko have teamed up with Pez to create a line of candy dispensers inspired by POPVinyl collectibles. It's three of my favorite brands coming together and I can't wait to add a few to my collection. This first release, which should arrive in Hot Topic and Box Lunch stores soon, will feature 13 Pez dispensers: 9 characters and 4 variants.

Baby Rocket is so cute! The figures are currently available for pre-order from various retailers including Target, Walmart, and Amazon. They likely won't be released until May or later as Funko products have experienced major shipping delays in the last few years.

Funko's POPVinyl Captain Marvel Figures Are A Blast

Funko has created quite the collection of POPVinyl figures for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie. There are several different Carol Danvers figures, including five different exclusives.

Carol Danvers the pilot is a FYE exclusive. A masked Vers is a GameStop exclusive. Vers unmasked will be available from several retailers. Captain Marvel in a jacket is a Hot Topic exclusive. A glowing Captain Marvel is a Walmart exclusive. A masked and flying Captain Marvel is a Target exclusive.

In addition to the many faces of Captain Marvel, there are figures of her allies and enemies. Allies include a young Nick Fury, before he lost his eye, and Carol's fellow pilot Maria Rambeau. Kree officer Star Commander and Talos make up the alien contingent. And then there's Goose the Cat, who may or may not actually be a cat. He's also available as a flocked BoxLunch exclusive. All of these POPVinyl figures from Funko will be available in January.

This Funko POP! Captain Marvel Trailer is Adorable

Funko's POPVinyl trailer for Captain Marvel is adorable. Funko's Marvel videos are always rather cute, and this one is no exception. It opens with Captain Marvel racing her friend Maria Rambeau across the sky and ends with Nick Fury and Goose the cat.

These Loki Funko POPVinyl Are Marvelous

So far, Marvel's Loki series is fantastic. It's intriguing and fascinating and keeps going to unexpected places. I'm really enjoying it. To celebrate all of the amazing new characters, Funko has created a plethora of POPVinyl figures that are a must have for any Loki fan. First up, there's Loki in his TVA uniform and Mobius with his pruning baton.

The next figures include Judge Ravonna Renslayer with a mini Miss Minutes and Hunter B-15 of the TVA.

There are two different Sylvie figures including a Walmart exclusive that glows in the dark.

And finally, there are multiple Loki Variant POPs: President Loki, Classic Loki (BoxLunch exclusive), two versions of Kid Loki including a metallic Funko Shop exclusive, and Alligator Loki (Hot Topic exclusive).

All of these POPVinyl figures would make a great addition to any collection. (Although Alligator Loki is my favorite!) Most are available for pre-order from Amazon and other retailers, but the Hot Topic and Box Lunch exclusives won't be available to order until they are actually released, likely sometime in September. Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors

There's a new Marvel animated film coming to DisneyXD in September. Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors is the story of a group of powered teens who become a team of heroes. The team consists of: Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Patriot, America Chavez, Inferno, Quake (voiced by Chloe Bennett, Quake on Agents of Shield), and Ghost-spider (voiced by Dove Cameron, Ruby on Agents of Shield).

Here's the official synopsis from Marvel:

When a threat no one could have expected bears down on the Marvel Universe, this ragtag, untrained band of teens have no choice but to rise together and prove to the world that sometimes the difference between a “hero” and “misfit” is just in the name.

 And here's Dove Cameron singing the theme song "Born Ready."

Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors debuts on Both the Disney Channel and DisneyXD on September 30.

Funko's Disney Treasures Boxes Subscription

When Funko announced that they were adding a Disney Treasures box to their subsciption lineup, I was excited. I've been thinking about ordering one of the Marvel or Star Wars boxes because they sounded pretty cool, but I didn't want a million t-shirts. The Disney Treaures boxes seemed like the perfect choice: Disney POPVinyls and few, if any, t-shirts.

When I saw a sneak peek of a character from the first box, Pirate's Cove, I knew I had to have it. I wanted the Mr. Smee POPVinyl to go with the Captain Hook I've had for years. Since the boxes contain exclusive collectibles, it made a subscription very appealing. I will admit, I did watch the spoiler video, which showed another item from the first box, a Dorbz Ridez of the Wicked Wench complete with a captain sporting a beribboned, braided beard. I ordered the six box plan, one every other month for a year, and began waiting for it to arrive.

Several weeks later, a box arrived, printed to look like a chest with a Mickey padlock. I couldn't wait to see what other treasures would be inside. When I opened the lid, I found a Captain Hook patch, a pirate Mickey pin, and a Disney Treasures Pioneer pin. The inside of the lid showed a map with all of the themed lands marked on it. Under the flap was a paper with more information about the collectibles on one side, and a fold-out map with a dotted line from Pirate's Cove to the next destination, Festival of Friends, on the other. There was also a Pirate's Cove sticker.

Finally, the moment I'd been waiting for, the collectibles. First up was Mr. Smee, looking absolutely adorable from his stocking cap to his toes, with his belly peeking out in between. Next up was the Wicked Wench, a highly detailed vessel with a removable captain. The final item came in a tin decorated with scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Inside was the cutest little Captain Jack Sparrow Mystery Mini. He even has his compass.

I was very happy with the first box, but had two months to wait for the second one. When June arrived, I received an email with tracking information for the next box from Funko. I waited for it, and waited, and waited, and waited, all the while trying not to see any of the unboxing videos cropping up everywhere. Somewhere between DHL and USPS, the tracking stopped. After several very annoying days, I had to file a missing package claim just to get USPS to actually deliver my package. It arrived the next day. So far, the shipping method is my only real complaint about the subscription.

Box number two was similar to the first. It contained a Piglet patch and a Thumper pin in the top. Under the flap was a flying Dumbo with Timothy on his hat. It has a clear acrylic stand attached to the bottom so Dumbo can "fly". The second figure was a POPVinyl Pluto, who.was very cute. The last figure was in a tin decorated with scenes from Toy Story Mania. Inside was the most adorable Sherriff Woody, Mystery Mini. He really is too cute, from his plaid shirt to the tiny pull string loop on his back.

So far, I'm very happy with the additions to my Funko Disney collection. And if you can avoid all the spoiler videos, it's a lot of fun to open up a new surprise every other month. If you've considered purchasing one of Funko's subscription boxes, try the Disney Treasures. It's perfect for Disney collectors. The next box's theme is Tiny Town. So far, the box will contain a Flying Tinker Bell POPVinyl. It will ship out sometime around the first week of August.

These Avengers: Endgame POPVinyl Are Fantastic

Funko creates some of the most amazing collectibles from movies, TV, and pop culture. These new Avengers: Endgame POPVinyl are another example of just how well these figures can represent a favorite character. There are seven figures in the latest release, which is due in stores in December.

Thanos is without his armor and the Infinity Stones, just as he appeared after the snap.

 Captain America is holding Mjolnir and his broken shield.
