More Disney Dream Portraits from Annie Leibovitz

I love the photos taken by Annie Leibovitz over the past several years for Disney. She does a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of the characters as well as the celebrities that are portraying them. Today, Disney released two new photos and they are fantastic!

The first features Russell Brand as Hook. And I love the caption, "Where every moment leaves you hungry for more." Peter Pan is one of our favorite movies, so I know Bean will get a kick out of this one.

The second photo features three great comedians: Jack Black, Will Ferrell, and Jason Segel. They represent the three Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion: Phineas, Ezra, and Gus. And the caption is perfect, "Where you can go on the ride of your afterlife." I love this photo, and the expressions on their faces are just hilarious!

Both photos, as well as additional photos that have not yet been released, will be available as part of a special insert in the fall issues of O (Oprah's magazine), GQ, InStyle, Essence, Vanity Fair, Real Simple, and People. I can't wait to see what's next!

Annie Leibovitz Disney Portraits

I don't know if you've seen them, but Annie Leibovitz has been recreating great Disney scenes in photographs for the last several years. She's used well known stars in these recreations, from J-Lo to Julie Andrews and everyone in-between. These photos are fantastic and fun and I look forward to each new addition.

The latest three photos, released just last week, feature scenes from The Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Beauty and the Beast. To recreate these scenes, Disney has enlisted the help of Queen Latifah, Alec Baldwin, Olivia Wilde, Jeff Bridges, and Penelope Cruz. The photographs will appear in the March 28, 2011 issue of People, as well as the April issues of O - The Oprah Magazine, Real Simple, Essence, and InStyle. They are part of Disney's new Memories campaign. 

I have to say, I think my favorite of these new photos is Belle and the Prince with Jeff Bridges and Penelope Cruz. They look so sweet together and perfectly capture the "Moment of Beauty" Disney is advertising. Check them out for yourself and let me know your favorite.

The most recent portrait features actress Jessica Chastain as Merida from the Disney/Pixar film Brave. The portrait is titled Where your destiny awaits. I just love the Disney Dream Portraits from Annie Leibovitz. She has created several in recent years, and they are always just gorgeous. The latest in this amazing collection is a portrait of Jennifer Hudson as Tiana from the Princess and the Frog. This one is titled Where you always follow your heart. As with previous photos, this new one will appear in several magazines in the coming months.

I'm Back! & The Latest Disney Dream Portrait by Annie Leibovitz

Hi all, I'm back! I know I've been away for the last few months (I was helping my Mom pack up and move from Arizona), but I'm finally home and have access to the internet again. Yay!! So, while catching up all of the Disney news I'd missed, I found a new Annie Leibovitz Disney Dream Portrait. I love these photos! They are always beautiful and they always find the perfect person for the character. The latest photo features Taylor Swift as Rapunzel.

The photo appeared in ads in several magazines as part of Disney's ongoing campaign with the tagline "Where a world of adventure awaits."
