EPCOT's Worldly Christmas Tree

I love seeing all of the Christmas decorations arrive throughout Disney World. Each park has its own specially decorated Christmas tree. The tree in EPCOT features snow globes with images from the countries in World Showcase, ornaments featuring their flags, and an angel embracing the world at the top.

The Last Verse

For many years, the Sherman Brothers were the creative force behind the songs in Disney movies and Parks. From "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" in Mary Poppins and "The Age of Not Believing" in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, to two of my favorite earworms from the Parks, "The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room" and "There's a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow", the brothers wrote many of Disney songs we all know and love. Shortly before he passed away in May of this year, Richard Sherman added one final verse to their most recognized song, "It's a Small World."

Moana And Maui Are Back!

Today's the day: Moana and Maui are back in theaters in Moana 2! This time, Moana must journey across the seas to bring together all of the people of Oceania.

Disney's Moana 2 arrives in theaters today, November 27th.

Stitch Is Back And Also Cute And Fluffy!

The latest animated Disney movie to receive the live-action treatment is Lilo & Stitch. I've loved watching the adventures of a little Hawaiian girl and her furry alien pal since they arrived in 2002, so I was a little worried about how a live-action version would turn out.

If this teaser is any indication, it should be a blast! 

Lilo & Stitch arrives in theaters on May 23, 2025.

Meet Elio

Pixar's next movie is an out of this world journey of discovery. Elio is a rather unusual kid who just wants to be abducted... by aliens. It looks like he will get his wish.

Elio is a kid with goals: “I’m trying to get abducted—by aliens!” In Disney and Pixar’s all-new feature film “Elio,” he might just get what he’s been searching for.

A space fanatic with an active imagination and a huge alien obsession, Elio’s all in for an epic undertaking when he’s beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. The latest trailer for Aardman's Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is absolutely hilarious. Poor Gromit, he's always getting dragged into some crazy scheme involving one of Wallace's inventions.

In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew - Let's Go!

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew looks so fun. I can't wait to see how this group of misfits comes together as a crew. It reminds me of some of my favorite movies from my childhood, such as Goonies and Space Camp.

The first two episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew arrive on DisneyPlus on December 3rd.

How To Train Your Dragon Teaser

I don't know about you, but I've loved the How To Train Your Dragon animated movies from the first time I saw them. They are wonderful stories with endearing characters and beautiful animation. And now, Universal is making a live-action version. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames) stands apart. A Haunted Mansion Christmas Tree?

Every year, there dozens of decorated Christmas trees appear in Disney Springs as part of the Christmas Tree Stroll. Each tree has a theme: a movie, a ride, or a Disney property. Last year, one of my favorite trees was the Haunted Mansion tree. It featured a full size bride and a wedding cake (with a headless groom of course) tucked into its branches.

It Is Nearly Time For Mufasa's Tale To Be Told

The final trailer for Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King has arrived. The story of Mufasa's rise to power looks like a rather dark adventure. And this trailer introduces the new villain, Kiros.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney: 

Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, "Mufasa: The Lion King" enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. Marvel's What If...? Is Coming To An End

The first full trailer for Season 3 of Marvel's What If...? has arrived and it is jam packed with characters. From returning favorites like Captain Carter and Kahhori, to new faces like Agatha Harkness and Shang-Chi, there's something for everyone. And then there's the unexpected crossover where X-Men's Storm is now Thor.

The final season of What If...? arrives on DisneyPlus on December 22nd.

Cap Is Back, But It's A Whole New World Out There

The first full trailer for Captain America: Brave New World has arrived and things are looking grim. Former General Thaddeus Ross hasn't been President for long when there's an assassination attempt on his life. It's up to Sam to figure out who's behind the threat.
