The Upload Conduit is powered on and the Lightcycles are ready. Are you prepared to enter The Grid? In just under two months, Disney World's latest roller coaster, TRON Lightcycle / Run, will open for guests. It is expected to be the fastest coaster at any Disney Park.
There are a few things you should know before you board your Lightcycle as a member of Team Blue.
- This ride can only be accessed via a virtual queue. There is no standby queue. Guests with a ticket and park reservation can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app.
- Guests can purchase an individual Lightning Lane entry via the My Disney Experience app. Pricing and availability will vary.
- Bags and loose items, including user headwear, must be stored in the lockers in the queue. The lockers are complimentary and can be locked and unlocked with a MagicBand or ticket card. Guests who don't have a MagicBand or ticket card will be assigned a card for the lockers. Small items, such as glasses, cellphones, and wallets can be stored in a small compartment on the ride vehicle.
- Disney PhotoPass photos and video will be captured on the ride. To collect a preview of the photo and video, either wear a MagicBand or bring your cellphone with the My Disney Experience app enabled onto the Lightcycle and stow it in the onboard compartment.
TRON Lightcycle / Run opens in the Magic Kingdom on April 4th.
