The Dora Milaje

The Dora Milaje, part Secret Service, part Special Forces, and all female. They are the king's personal guard. In the center is Nakia, who travels the world to protect Wakanda's secrets, although that takes her away from T'Challa, whom she loves.

Ulysses Klaue and Everett Ross

CIA operative Everett K. Ross travels to Wakanda to work with T'Challa as they seek mercenary Ulysses Klaue, who has stolen Wakanda's most guarded secrets.

The Wakandan Royal Family

The Wakandan Royal Portrait shows many of the key figures struggling to protect Wakanda. King T'Challa looks to his mother Ramonda for advice on how to rule. Nakia is his spy in the outside world. His younger sister Shuri is a technological genius who is in charge of advanced with Vibranium. Okoye is head of intelligence as well as the Dora Milaje. W'Kabi is head of security for the Border Tribe, Wakanda's first line of defense. Zuri is a shaman, advisor, and keeper of the Heart-Shaped Herb which gives T'Challa his superhuman strength. Finally, there's an enemy in the picture. Erik Killmonger is an exile who wants T'Challa's throne.
