My Tsum Tsum Collection

Is there such a thing as too many Tsum Tsums? I certainly hope not, because I recently realized that my collection may be a tad large. I just can't seem to resist those fuzzy, little stackables. Especially when they're on sale. They are just too addicting. I had to start a list on my phone to keep track of what I have. After all, I wouldn't want to add a bunch of duplicates to the mix. But I don't collect only a single genre of Tsum Tsum either. I have characters from animated Disney movies, Pixar movies, Marvel movies, and Star Wars movies, as well as from rides, and even a few ride vehicles. Which Tsum Tsums do you collect?

Haunted Mansion Picture Book and CD

I love Disney books of every type, but I've always had a special fondness for those about the Parks. Be it a behind the scenes look at the making of EPCOT, or an adventure through the Magic Kingdom, I just can't seem to resist books about the happiest place on earth. Well, this summer, I'll have a new book to add to my library: The Haunted Mansion.

The first in a new series of picture books for kids and adults alike, "Disney Parks Presents" will feature original artwork inspired by rides and attractions, as well as a CD of music from the ride. The Haunted Mansion features artwork by London based artist James Gilleard, and lyrics from the ride by Xavier Atencio. A CD inside the front cover contains a 5 minute and 32 second tour through the ride, including "Grim Grinning Ghosts" with music by Buddy Baker.

The artwork is fun and vibrant, and even features familiar sights from the ride, such as the clock striking 13 and the hidden Mickey from the ballroom. Additional books in the series will feature Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise. The books can be found in the Disney Parks or at other retailers nationwide starting on July 5 and retails for $17.99.

Lego Star Wars: the Freemaker Adventures

Disney
Bean and I have started watching the latest Lego Star Wars TV series: the Freemaker Adventures. This show is absolutely hysterical! I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I am. The in-jokes and ridiculous situations are a perfect fit for the Lego Star Wars Universe.

The story takes place between the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The Freemakers, Kordi, Xander, and Rowan, run a salvage and repair shop, selling parts for spacecraft. They, along with their droid Roger, are unwillingly searching for Kyber crystals, which can be used in lightsabers. This leads them into many dangerous, not to mention humorous, situations. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures airs weekdays at 10 am ET on DisneyXD.

Alice Through the Looking Glass Mystery Minis

The Alice Through the Looking Glass Mystery Minis from Funko are so cute! There are 16 figures available, of varying degrees of rarity. The most rare figures are the Hatter and the Vegetable Soldier. I'm especially fond of the Bandersnatch. He's so adorable!

Beauty and the Beast 25th Anniversary Edition

Disney
I can't quite believe it, but it's been 25 years since the release of Disney's animated classic Beauty and the Beast. In honor of this momentous occasion, Disney will be releasing a special Signature Collection Edition Blu-ray and DVD of the film on September 20. This release will include four versions of the film as well as a bunch of extras and a sneak peek of the upcoming live-action version starring Emma Watson.

In addition to the original theatrical version of the film, an extended cut features the deleted song "Human Again". There's also a sing-along and a special work-in-progress version. Special features include a behind the scenes look at voice sessions, a documentary about Disney's previous attempts to bring the story to the big screen, and several Disney composers singing songs and discussing how the music affected their own work. Additional bonus features are from previous releases of the film and include deleted scenes and an alternate version of "Be Our Guest".

Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite Disney Princess movie, so I'm really looking forward to seeing this new release with all its extras. For more information about the movie, visit the website at www.BeOurGuest.com.

Lego Disney Minifigures

I finally found the new Lego Disney Minifigures at Walmart. I think this will be my new collection obsession.
