"When I was young, my ambition was to be one of the people who made a difference in this world. My hope is to leave the world a little better for having been there."
Isn't it funny how a single song can take you back to your childhood? I loved watching The Muppet Show as a child. The Muppets were wild and crazy and you never knew quite what they'd get up to in each episode. And it was always fun to see the guest stars and the insanity they'd get pulled into. I hope the new special is the start of a new era for The Muppet Show.
There's something truly enjoyable about watching the Muppets perform. Here, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem take on Electric Light Orchestra's "Mr. Blue Sky."
I'm really hoping this is the kind of performance that will be included in Rock 'n' Roller Coaster after the Muppet transformation.
Tomorrow is the day! The Muppet Show returns... at least for one very special episode.
Here's the official synopsis from Jim Henson Company:
Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppets ensemble are back with a brand-new special event. Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!
The new The Muppet Show special premieres on February 4th on ABC and DisneyPlus.
All five seasons of the original The Muppet Show are available now on DisneyPlus.
It's nearly time to play the music and light the lights. Once again, it will be time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show. That's right, Kermit and his friends are headed back to their beloved theater for one more performance. And they'll be joined by a few special guests: Sabrina Carpenter, Maya Rudolph, and Seth Rogan, who is also the executive producer of this special.

Soon it will be "time to play the music" and "time to light the lights" because it will once again be "time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight."

"I have always thought of Christmas time as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time; when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys."
I've enjoyed watching the Muppets Haunted Mansionevery Halloween since it debuted in 2021. It's so funny and clever, with some quite memorable songs. This song by the Caretaker takes place in the cemetery of the Haunted Mansion.
Muppets Haunted Mansion is available on DisneyPlus.
This year, your favorite Cereal Monsters have a new look. Count Chocula, Franke Berry, and Boo Berry have been Muppet-ized. In addition to this hilarious video of their photo shoot, their new look will be featured on the cereal boxes.
The boxes should begin arriving in stores this week. A limited edition fuzzy Franken Berry box will be released on October 7th, exclusively at Walmart.com.
As part of the Muppets 70th Anniversary celebrations, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his beleaguered assistant Beeker from the Muppet Labs are here to conduct a field test. They're having fun learning about gravity, with a little help from Mythbuster Adam Savage.
I love nearly every version of Dicken's A Christmas Carol. There's something delightful about discovering which twist each film will include. In the Muppet Christmas Carol, each of the ghosts is, quite appropriately, a Muppet. The Muppet version of the Ghost of Christmas Present is my absolute favorite of any film. He's just so jolly! Here, he's singing to Scrooge about what makes it feel like Christmas.
The Muppet Christmas Carol is available on DisneyPlus.
I don't know how I missed this when it was new, but this dramatic reading is absolutely hilarious! Why do you suppose that Bunsen and Beaker got so emotional over the lyrics to "A Pirate's Life For Me"?
This lyric music video for Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem's new song is so very Muppet retro. I love it! It sounds like they're well on their way to recording their first album, which is the basis for the latest Muppet series, The Muppets Mayhem. It should be a blast.
The Muppets Mayhem arrives on DisneyPlus this Wednesday, May 10th.
A new Muppet series is coming to DisneyPlus. The Muppets Mayhem follows The Electric Mayhem Band as they work to record their first-ever album. Can you believe it has taken them 45 years to record an album?
Then again, with as wild as Dr. Teeth, Janice, Floyd Pepper, Animal, Zoot, and Lips can get, maybe it makes sense. Joining this crazy band will be Nora (Lilly Sing), a junior music executive, her social media influencer sister Hannah (Saara Chaudry), and super-fan Gary "Moog" Moogland (Tahj Mowry). It should be a blast!
The Muppets Mayhem arrives on DisneyPlus on May 10.
The songs from last year's Muppets Haunted Mansionare so dark, yet Muppety. I especially love the moment in this song where the ride stops and you get the "please remain seated in your Doom Buggy" spiel.
Muppets Haunted Mansion is available on DisneyPlus.
