Fireworks at MNSSHP

It's August now, so that means it's nearly time for Halloween, right? This year, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins on August 15th. And MNSSHP is where you can find my favorite fireworks at Disney World: Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. 

Zootopia 2 Trailer & Poster

A new trailer and poster for Disney's Zootopia 2 has arrived and it looks hilarious. Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps are still finding their footing as partners when they're assigned to a case involving a snake, an animal not seen in Zootopia in years.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney:

After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia’s history, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman) find their partnership isn’t as solid as they thought when Chief Bogo (voice of Idris Elba) orders them to join the Partners in Crisis counseling program. But it doesn’t take long for their partnership to be put to the ultimate test when they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mystery tied to the arrival of a venomous snake in the animal metropolis.

While “Zootopia 2” introduces Gary De’Snake (voice of Ke Huy Quan), Nibbles (voice of Fortune Feimster) and quokka therapist Dr. Fuzzby (voice of Quinta Brunson), the upcoming feature film also welcomes back a herd of characters who made their debut in the Oscar-winning film “Zootopia.”

Zootopia 2 arrives in theaters on November 26th.

Eyes of Wakanda Trailer & Posters

The first full trailer for Marvel's Eyes of Wakanda has arrived and it looks fantastic! This animated series tells stories of  adventures from Wakanda's past. 

Here's the official synopsis from Marvel: 

Marvel Animation’s new action-adventure series 'Eyes of Wakanda' follows the adventures of brave Wakandan warriors throughout history. In this globe-trotting adventure, the heroes must carry-out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts from the enemies of Wakanda. They are the Hatut Zaraze and this is their story.

Marvel also released six new posters for the series. Each poster features a glimpse of a different masked face.

All four episodes of Eyes of Wakanda arrive on DisneyPlus this Friday, August 1st.

Avatar: Fire and Ash

Things are looking grim for the Sully family in the latest installment of the Avatar Saga. Avatar: Fire and Ash introduces a new tribe of Na'vi that James Cameron has described as "the worst side of Na'vi."

With “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family. The film also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass and Kate Winslet.

Avatar: Fire and Ash arrives in theaters on December 19th.

The Fantastic 4: First Steps Music

Composer Michael Giacchino helped to kick off the premiere of Marvel's The Fantastic 4: First Steps with an amazing orchestral performance. The music included the Marvel Theme and the theme for Fantastic 4, which is delightfully unique and somewhat retro.

The Fantastic 4: First Steps is in theaters now.

Percy Jackson Returns

The first teaser trailer for season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has arrived and it looks fantastic. I loved season 1, so I'm really looking forward to season 2. This time, Percy and his pals Annabeth and Grover must take on the forces of Kronos and travel the Sea of Monsters.

Season two of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is based on “The Sea of Monsters” - the second installment of Disney Hyperion’s best-selling book series by award-winning author Rick Riordan. Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos.
