Tonight, Disney is bring us another night of musical merriment, this time with a holiday twist. The Disney Holiday Singalong is an hour long event hosted, once again, by Ryan Seacrest. It will include animated on-screen lyrics to help you sing along to favorite Disney songs and classic carols. 

Here are the songs and performers you can expect to see:

And for a special treat, the cast of some of Disney's Broadway musicals, including The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen, will join together to sing "Let It Go." DCappella, Disney's a cappella group, will also pop in to sing carols throughout the show.

In addition to the magic of a Disney singalong, the show is meant to raise awareness for Disney's Feed the Love campaign. They're working with Feeding America, Toys for Tots, and One Simple Wish to give back to families in need and inspire hope in our communities. The Disney Holiday Singalong airs at 8PM ET on ABC. And if you miss it, it will be  available on Hulu starting tomorrow, but it will only be there for 7 days, so don't wait to watch.

This Gingerbread Cream Cheese Muffin Recipe From Animal Kingdom Looks Delicious

With the holidays rapidly approaching, it's time to start thinking about what Christmassy treats to bake this year. This Gingerbread Cream Cheese Muffin recipe from Disney's Animal Kingdom sounds absolutely delicious. 

Gingerbread-Cream Cheese Muffins

Makes 12

Cream Cheese Filling

1/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened

4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

1 egg yolk

1/2 tsp lemon juice

Combine sugar and butter in bowl of electric mixer fitted with paddle attachment and beat on low speed until there are no lumps. Add cream cheese and mix on medium speed for 3 minutes, until smooth. Reduce speed to low. Add egg and lemon juice and mix until smooth. Refrigerate at least 2 hours, up to 3 days, until ready to use.

Gingerbread Muffins

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

3 tsp ground ginger

2 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground cloves

3/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup canola oil (1/4 cup butter, softened, may be substituted)

1/2 cup light brown sugar

3 Tbsp molasses

3 Tbsp honey

2 eggs

1 cup buttermilk

Cream Cheese Filling

Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare a muffin pan with 12 liners and set aside. 

Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into medium bowl and set aside. Combine oil or butter, brown sugar, molasses, honey, and egg in bowl of electric mixer fitted with whisk attachment. Mix on medium speed until combined. Reduce speed to low and add buttermilk until incorporated. Add flour mixture and mix on low speed until combined. Scrape sides of mixer and mix an additional 30 seconds. Batter will be slightly lumpy.

Scoop batter into prepared muffin pan, filling each cup 3/4 full. Place reserved cream cheese filling in piping bag fitted with large round tip. Insert piping tip into the center of each muffin, piping about 1 tablespoon into the center, then pipe a swirl around the top of the muffin.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until top of muffin is firm when touched. Cool before serving.

Mickey And Minnie’s Runaway Railway Toys At McDonald's

Disney toys have returned once again to McDonald’s Happy Meals. I must admit to an unfortunate weakness for collecting these adorable reminders of my childhood, especially the Disney themed toys. The new toys began arriving yesterday, just in time for Mickey and Minnie’s 92 birthday. 

This latest collection features Mickey and pals enjoying rides from across Disney World. On each of the 10 toys, the character move as it rolls along. Connect all of the toys to create a train full of zany fun. Here are the toys:

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special Is Now On DisneyPlus

I love the LEGO Star Wars shorts. They are so ridiculous and funny and always include silly nods to the many films and series that make up the Star Wars universe. 

This year, LEGO has created a holiday special about "Life Day." And it looks like it's going to be hilarious! 

Here's the official synopsis:

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day. Rey sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride, which, in theory, will be opening in EPCOT next year, is looking incredible. The adventure will start in the "Galaxarium", a planetarium-like exhibition comparing Earth's galaxy to Xandar. As you learn more about Xandar’s treasures, the Guardians arrive and chaos ensues.

Guests will board the OmniCoaster for an entirely unique, family-friendly roller coaster ride through the galaxy. The ride system can rotate in any direction, even while traveling at high speeds. This way, you'll be fully immersed in the story as each individual cab directs your attention to what's happening at that moment. It should be amazing!

Christmas In Disney Springs

Disney Springs has become a winter wonderland filled with sparkling lights and holiday decorations. DJs will be playing holiday music throughout the day. And stilt-walking Toy Soldiers and Skating Snowflakes may pop in for a delightful surprise. In the evenings, magical snow falls in the Town Center, West Side, and The Landing. 

The Christmas Tree Stroll returns this year, but with a twist. This year, the elaborate Disney themed Christmas trees will be spread out throughout the four Disney Springs neighborhoods. This time-lapse video shows cast members putting up the tree in the Town Center.

A holly, jolly scavenger hunt adds even more fun to the Christmas Tree Stroll. 

This scavenger hunt is complimentary and maps can be picked up from select retail stores, the Welcome Center, and PhotoPass Studio. In addition to a map of all the trees, special offers and discounts for retail and dining locations can be found on the back. When you've completed the scavenger hunt, make sure to bring your map to a redemption location for a special surprise. 

Later this month, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be part of a Winter Watercade on Lake Buena Vista. They'll be cruising along sharing holiday greetings from their festive pontoon boat. 

And finally, if holiday themed snacks are what you're after, look no further than Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar. The bar has once again been kitchily transformed into a zany Christmas fantasy. This year, the menu includes:

Gingerbread Bundt Cake Recipe From Disneyland

It's never too early to start baking delicious holiday treats. And what's more seasonal than a gingerbread cake? This recipe for Mini Gingerbread Bundt Cakes from Disneyland sounds wonderful.

Mini Gingerbread Bundt Cakes with Orange-Vanilla Sauce

Makes 12 (4” x 1.75”)or 24 (2.7” x 1.18”) Mini Bundt Cakes 

For the cake:

• 1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground ginger
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 4 large eggs
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 2 1/2 tsp zested fresh ginger
• 12-ounce bottle amber lager beer
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 1/4 cup molasses
• 1 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray mini Bundt cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a medium bowl. Beat eggs, oil, and fresh ginger in a small bowl. Heat beer in large saucepan over medium-high heat until boiling. Remove from heat and slowly add baking soda. Once beer stops foaming, add molasses and brown sugar. Stir in flour mixture, 1/3 at a time, mixing well after adding. Stir in egg mixture until combined. Batter will be thin. Pour into prepared Bundt pans, filling each cavity 2/3 full. Bake for 20-22 minutes, until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack before removing from pan. 

For the sauce:

• 1/2 vanilla bean
• 1 1/4 cup milk
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 3 egg yolks
• Zest of 1/2 orange
• 1 tsp orange oil 

Cut vanilla bean in half and scrape out seeds using a knife. Combine milk, sugar, and vanilla bean scrapings in medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until hot, but not boiling. Whisk egg yolks in a medium bowl. Slowly pour in half of the hot milk mixture while whisking the eggs. Pour eggs into saucepan with milk mixture and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly for 2-3 minutes, until thick enough to coat the back of spoon. Remove from heat and continue to whisk for 3 minutes. Pour into glass bowl and set on top of an ice bath. Once sauce is at room temperature, add orange zest and orange oil. Refrigerate until ready to serve. 

For the glaze:

• 2/3 cup powdered sugar
• 4 tsp whole milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in small bowl until smooth. If glaze is too thick, add 1/4 teaspoon of milk at a time until desired consistency. Drizzle glaze onto cooled cakes. Before serving, fill center of each mini Bundt cake with Orange-Vanilla Sauce.

Disney and Make-A-Wish Celebrate 40 Years Of Magic

For 40 years, Disney and Make-A-Wish have partnered to grant wishes to kids and families when they need it most. Disneyland was even part of the very first wish granted. Since 1980, Disney has helped grant more than 140,000 wishes worldwide. To celebrate this remarkable achievement, Disney has created the most heartwarming short, "From Our Family To Yours." It tells the story of Lola and her granddaughter and the importance of sharing holiday traditions. It also showcases an adorable Mickey Mouse plush. Make sure you have your tissues ready.

Isn't that the sweetest thing? If you, too, have fallen in love with Lola's treasured Mickey, you're in luck.

Christmas At EPCOT

Holiday magic has arrived throughout Disney World. There are decorations, treats, and character filled parades in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. And now it's time for Christmas at EPCOT. The Christmas celebrations in EPCOT will begin on November 27 and continue until December 30.

Characters dressed up for Christmas will parade through the World Showcase. Watch for Anna and Elsa in the "Frozen Holiday Promenade," Mickey and pals on the "Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour," and Santa Claus as he takes a horse-drawn tour sharing holiday wishes with everyone. 

JOYFUL! will perform R&B, Gospel, contemporary and traditional Christmas songs in the World ShowPlace. Also in World ShowPlace, explore the Gingerbread Capital City featuring tasty replicas of iconic US landmarks including the Capitol Building and a 5-foot tall Washington Monument. And the Voices of Liberty, my favorite performers at EPCOT, will be singing favorite carols and seasonal songs in delightful 8-part harmony on the American Gardens Theatre stage. 

For a sampling of holiday cheer from around the world, check out the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. There will be yuletide decorations, holiday music, family-friendly activities, and delicious food and beverages. There's something for everyone.
