Meeting Edna Mode

As part of the Incredibles Celebration in Pixar Place at Hollywood Studios, guests can meet the fabulous designer, Edna Mode. When you enter the queue, you'll notice a wall of Edna Mode quotes, such as "Luck favors the prepared" and "Fear not, for I have arrived." And then of course, there's my favorites "No capes!" and "I never look back, darling, it distracts from the now."

Then there are several of Edna's best designs in the Supersuit Gallery. Frozone's suit includes a visor made with frost resistant glass and boots equipped with slip resistant micro-grip soles.

Dash's suit can withstand friction levels up to 348.7 mph and has boots with maximum traction.

Just before you meet Edna, you can see some of her many awards and several of the magazine covers she's graced. Finally, it's time to meet the designer herself. Edna loves to strike a pose and take photos, so this Meet and Greet is a lot of fun. The Incredibles Celebration only lasts until September 30, so be sure to meet Edna Mode while you can.

The Lion King's Poster and "Long Live the King" Trailer Look Amazing

Disney
Disney has released the first poster for the upcoming CGI The Lion King. The poster shows Mufasa and young Simba surveying their realm. The latest trailer, while similar to the teaser trailer, shows the remake of the  original opening scene. So far, the film looks incredible.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney:

Director Jon Favreau’s all-new “The Lion King” journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, BeyoncĂ© Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon. Utilizing pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way, Disney’s “The Lion King” roars into theaters on July 19, 2019.

Minnie Kitchen Sink at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

For several years, the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in the Magic Kingdom has served up an over-the-top sundae called the Mickey Kitchen Sink. It's two giant scoops of your choice of ice cream, either hot fudge, caramel, or peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, and at least two cherries. This entire concoction arrives in a plastic kitchen sink shaped like Mickey's shorts. It even has a faucet and handles shaped like Mickey gloves. It costs $16.99 and the sink is a hilarious souvenir once the sundae is gone.
This year, in honor of Mickey and Minnie's 90th Birthday, you can order your sundae in a Minnie Kitchen Sink as well. It's so adorable! This sundae is definitely made to share, so grab a few friends and head to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street. You'll be glad you did.
